At least 14 Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Friday as Israeli forces targeted multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, including locations where civilians were waiting for humanitarian aid. Medical sources said three people were killed and others wounded when Israeli forces opened fire on a crowd waiting for aid in central Gaza.

Aid airdrops continued over Gaza on Thursday (August 7), around a week after a global hunger monitor said a famine scenario is unfolding in the Strip. In the north of the enclave, father-of-four Abu Mohammed al-Omar said he managed to get lentils and tomato paste.
