Five teenagers have died and four other people have been seriously injured in a crash involving a car driving in the wrong direction on a motorway in Co Kildare.

A man was arrested on suspicion of causing public nuisance, criminal damage, public order offences, burglary and assaulting two police officers.

The air show was advertised as a ‘festival of aviation’ to raise funds for the on-site First World War military aviation museum.
