Zack Martin is retiring after a decorated career that included seven All-Pro seasons at right guard with the Dallas Cowboys, two sources told the Associated Press on Thursday.

The decision for Martin to undergo season-ending injury came to fruition in the last 24-to-48 hours. "It's something I've been dealing with all year, back to training camp," Martin said Thursday.
