For tonight, expect a few showers and storms with lows around 75 degrees.

A warm and muggy night is coming up with temperatures in the mid- to upper 70s. It will be partly cloudy with the slight chance of a spot shower or storm.

For today, expect very hot and stifling weather with highs near 89 degrees.

The real relief comes this weekend, when we return to more seasonable temperature and less humidity. Highs will be in the mid-80s, and humidity will still be noticeable but less oppressive.

There will be sun and clouds this afternoon with a pop-up shower or thunderstorm possible.

Despite the humidity and cloudy skies at times, it is a dry weekend for most of the area, but heat and rain chances are on the climb for next week.
