President Donald Trump’s approval rating has dropped one percentage point, to 40 percent, the lowest yet of his second presidential term, according to a fresh poll.

Trump’s approval and disapproval ratings in the recent CBS News poll were 42% and 58% respectively — a 3% increase in his disapproval rating and a 3% decrease in his approval rating when compared to CBS’s News’s June poll.
