HELD: Now after the disaster at Camp Mystic, sleepaway camps across the U.S. have been seeking to reassure parents who often also send their kids away in nature near rivers, lakes and forests.

Sleepover camps are seen as an American tradition. But the deaths of so many children at Camp Mystic during the Texas floods have led some parents to question the safety of the camps.

In less extreme circumstances, it could shield someone’s sanity. I imagine the people who lost a child at Camp Mystic might need some help with their sanity right about now.
