The man and his younger brother were burying their pet that had recently passed when their neighbor allegedly came out and shot at them.

A man was shot in the backyard of a Houston home while reportedly burying a deceased pet guinea pig with his younger brother.

A Houston man was fatally shot early Wednesday morning while leaving a WingStop, according to Houston Police Department officials. The man was walking near a bus stop after leaving the restaurant on W. 34th St. around midnight when someone fired multiple shots toward him, OnSceneTV reported.

The fatal shooting outside the Bugs Bar Nightclub is the second to happen there since March, according to Houston police.
