Local leaders urge continued prayers and support as Kerr County mourns victims and continues the search for the missing.

The list has 119 names, two of whom remain unaccounted for. The victims ranged in age from 1 to 80, and most of them were Texans.

Those confirmed deceased in the West Texas area include: In a joint statement, Kerrville Mayor Joe Herring and Kerr County Judge Rob Kelly expressed deep sympathy for the families affected and called for continued support as search and recovery efforts continue.

A rise of of 3-6 feet possible on North & South Forks of the Guadalupe River as well as the Guadalupe River from Hunt to Kerrville.

The plan goes over multiple disaster scenarios for the county including flooding. On page 39 the plan states, "The local planning team determined it is likely that Kerr County and the participating jurisdictions will experience a flood event in the next year, meaning an event is probable in the next three years."

William "Dub" Thomas, the Kerr County Emergency Management Director since 2015, detailed his whereabouts during the crisis.

After closing because of the deadly July 4 flood, a handful of summer camps near the Guadalupe River have reopened — including a camp for children and adults with disabilities that welcomed 89 campers 10 days after the flood.
