It's almost the weekend and the end of triple-digit temperatures for a while in North Texas. Thursday is another scorcher with highs around 102-103 degrees. The consecutive days of hot temperatures have prompted another heat advisory for the area from noon until 8 p.m.

A slow-moving front is moving in from the north, it could reach the Red River by late afternoon on Thursday. This creates a small storm chance along the river. That front comes into North Texas on the first day of August on Friday,
