The 49ers' QBs only threw one incompletion Thursday. Of course, the defense was missing cornerbacks Renardo Green and Deommodore Lenoir.

Completed 6 of 8 pass attempts and threw a beautiful touchdown pass in the red zone while rolling to his left, as well as a second touchdown pass to Isaac Guerendo. The 49ers most likely will need Jones to play at some point this season, and it seems they should be able to win with him. He's a good backup quarterback.

The San Francisco 49ers activated wide receiver Ricky Pearsall off the PUP list. A hamstring injury limited Pearsall throughout most of the team's offseason program. Pearsall, a first round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft,

The best offensive plays of the day included a connection between Purdy and Pearsall during red zone drills. The wideout was covered by both Ji’Ayir Brown and Upton Stout. Purdy also found tight end Luke Farrell in back-to-back plays, with the new addition to the 49ers’ offense showing he can be used as a receiver as well as a blocker.

So much caution and care is being taken from the 49ers with wide receiver Rick Pearsall, which can be viewed as concerning.
