San Diego FC has replaced one forward from Escondido with another. The club announced Wednesday that it has acquired Major League Soccer veteran Corey Baird from FC Cincinnati for $50,000 in general allocation money, with the possibility of more cash headed to Cincinnati if Baird plays well.

FC Cincinnati officially announced a trade with San Diego FC, which will send forward Corey Baird to San Diego FC in exchange for $50,000 in 2025 General Allocation Money (GAM), as well as $50,000 in conditional GAM. As part of the trade, Cincinnati will retain a portion of Baird’s 2025 salary.
