Los Angeles has cemented itself as the Car Chase Capital of the United States thanks to the many high-speed pursuits that regularly unfold on its streets.

Two armed carjackers led police on a pursuit through Los Angeles, California, after stealing three vehicles, including a tanker lorry. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, authorities initially responded to a reported car theft.

But the chase through the streets of Los Angeles was anything but fiction. Sheriff’s deputies are looking for two armed people who carjacked several vehicles on Aug. 10, including a big rig, KABC reported.
