ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs returned to training camp practice on a sunny Tuesday morning on Missouri Western’s campus, just four days ahead of Saturday’s preseason opener against the Arizona Cardinals. Here’s a look at six things we’ve learned about the roster through 12 practices.

One of the biggest scares before training camp began involved wide receiver Rashee Rice. Rice was sentenced to 30 days in jail and received five years of probation for his role in a multi-car crash in 2024. His status for the 2025 regular season remains uncertain, as he is likely to face a suspension from the NFL.

The Arizona Cardinals have their first preseason action this weekend. They take on the Kansas City Chiefs Saturday from State Farm Stadium, kicking off at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. Arizona time). The Cardinals have closed out training camp in Glendale and now move to a more normal weekly schedule.
