Andy Murray is reportedly planning to play men's doubles at the French Open with fellow Brit Dan Evans later this month. The decision will increase Murray's workload ahead of Wimbledon and the Paris Olympics, despite the fact he is still working his way back from an ankle ligament injury.

With the Paris Olympics looming, many top tennis players have put their feet on the doubles court. Take for example the ongoing Madrid Open. The likes of Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas have also played doubles here in a bid to ultimately represent their country at the Olympics.

Tennis fans collectively held their breath when Murray took a tumble towards the end of his marathon Miami match against Tomas Machac. The Brit played on but lost in a final set tiebreak and later revealed that he suffered a full rupture of his anterior talofibular ligament and near full thickness rupture of his calcaneofibular ligament.
