An Army Major from Fort Liberty was convicted of smuggling weapons inside barrels of rice headed to Ghana, the Department of Justice said.

Dartey then hid the firearms, including multiple handguns, an AR-15, 50-round magazines, suppressors and a combat shotgun inside blue barrels underneath rice and household goods.
