University of Minnesota Interim President Jeff Ettinger told students and faculty Thursday they have reached a deal to disband a pro-Palestinian encampment that had set up on the Twin Cities campus for three days.

Finals are scheduled to start on Thursday for students at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis as a pro-Palestininan protest encampment remains on campus.

Tent encampments on college campuses have become a common sight as pro-Palestine college protests have been breaking out in the Twin Cities and around the country. As of Wednesday morning, there were protest encampments on campus at the University of Minnesota and Hamline University.
