A school board in Pennsylvania reversed its unanimous decision to cancel a speech by former ‘30 Rock’ actor and anti-bullying advocate Maulik Pancholy over concerns about his advocacy and “lifestyle.”

A Pennsylvania school district has reversed the cancellation of an appearance by actor and children’s book author Maulik Pancholy

The Cumberland Valley School Board reversed its decision to cancel Maulik Pancholy’s speech at a middle school next month after many community members said the actor had been discriminated against because of his sexuality.

"The school board listened to the community, reversed course, and voted 5-4 to reinstate my visit," Maulik Pancholy said in a statement
