Walmart Inc. is eliminating hundreds of corporate jobs nationwide and asking some employees to move to Bentonville. Walmart Chief People Officer Donna Morris sent a memo to employees that said "some parts of our business have made changes that will result in a reduction of several hundred campus roles."

Walmart Inc announced on Tuesday that it plans to cut hundreds of jobs at its corporate headquarters and relocate a majority of its U.S. and Canada-based remote workforce to three offices, a shift in strategy after initially endorsing virtual work during the pandemic.
