San Antonio police are searching for an unidentified suspect who fled the scene of the birthday party shooting.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot by a San Antonio police officer Saturday afternoon after a reported family disturbance escalated into a road confrontation on the city's South Side, according to police.

A man was hospitalized after being shot early Saturday on the Northeast Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
