The North Dakota Department of Emergency Services is reporting that crews responded to 60 fire starts over the weekend as the hot and windy conditions continue across the state.

Sunday's warnings generally run from 1 to 8 p.m. MDT, with west winds of 15-25 miles per hour and gusts up to 40 mph. Humidity levels will drop to between 9-15 percent across most warned areas.

A Red Flag Warning means fires can quickly spread and grow out of control due to weather conditions that typically include warm temperatures, low humidity and strong winds.
