Fisher-Price is recalling more than 2 million Snuga Swings sold nationwide after the suffocation deaths of five infants, the company and the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Thursday.
At least eight infants died after the Fisher-Price Rock ’n Play Sleeper was recalled in 2019, the commission said in January 2023. About 100 infant deaths over 13 years were tied to that product.
The company also partially recalled around 99,000 swings sold in Canada and around 500 sold in Mexico. In the last five years, Fisher-Price has recalled several infant products due to safety concerns.
