PITTSBURGH -- The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame held its induction in Pittsburgh for the first time Wednesday. It was an appropriate place for Kevin Stevens and Matt Cullen, who spent memorable years with the Pittsburgh Penguins and still work for them today.

Moorhead Native Matt Cullen was officially inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Wednesday night in Pittsburgh, PA. Cullen won three Stanley Cups throughout his 21-year NHL career, including two with the Pittsburgh Penguins organization.

It was an era rife with power forwards. And he might have been the power forward. Even if his prime was fleeting, Kevin Stevens was, quite possibly, the prototype for what most define as a power forward in hockey.
