HOUSTON - Houston Police Department has arrested a man in connection to the officer-involved shooting in north Houston on Monday afternoon. Albert Verin Holmer, 23, faces charges of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and unlawful carrying of a weapon in the 179th State District Court.

A suspect has been arrested after shooting two men at a barbecue in northeast Houston last Friday, the Houston Police Department said.

The man accused of shooting and killing six people between Austin and San Antonio was identified and appears to have a work history at firing ranges.
