Israel eliminated Hamas battalion commanders and targeted Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar’s home in Gaza. A Houthi missile was fired at Eilat and Israel’s Defense Minister discussed the importance of preventing Hezbollah threats to Israeli communities in the north.

Israel said it has killed about half of Hamas’s midlevel commanders in Gaza and is pressing on the suspected hiding place of the group’s leader, deploying a deliberate strategy to disrupt the militants’ ability to fight in the enclave.

The Israeli military says its troops are now in the most intense fighting of the war so far, battling Hamas on the streets, in buildings, on foot and in tanks. There are still more than 130 hostages in Gaza as officials urge immediate action to secure their release.

Dozens of Hamas terrorists surrendered to Israeli forces Thursday in northern Gaza where IDF soldiers made the militants disrobe their uniforms and strip down to their underwear, according to reports.
