Welcome to the weekend! UEFA Nations League and FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers in many of the various soccer confederations are starting and its a big weekend for the U.S. Men's National Team with Mauricio Pochettino debuting as head coach.

Four of the five hires announced by U.S. Soccer have followed Pochettino throughout his career at several top European teams.

New U.S. men's national team coach Mauricio Pochettino apparently subscribes to that little pearl of wisdom, given what his new players had to say when asked how the first 48 hours under the former Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham manager's watchful eye has gone.
