The teenager accused of going on a shooting rampage during Halloween celebrations in downtown Orlando wants to go on trial.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Jaylen Edgar, the teenager accused of killing two people on Halloween last year in downtown Orlando, is set to go to trial on Jan. 12.

While some are ready to welcome patrons back with open arms, others are still worried after last year’s shooting.

The families of Timothy Schmidt Jr. and Tyrek Hill filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the city of Orlando and Downtown Power LLC.
