STLA faces scrutiny over 1.2M Ram trucks for rollaway risks, while its Italian production slumps nearly 27% in H1 2025.

Federal auto safety regulators are investigating recalls involving more than one million Ram pickup trucks to determine if they were sufficient in addressing a defect that could cause the vehicles to roll away unexpectedly.

These Ram trucks were recalled once already, though the NHTSA is concerned that the remedy may have failed after receiving more than a dozen owner reports.
