[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Whirlpool Stainless Steel Dishwasher with AI Intelligent Wash is very sleek yet functional. Installation was pretty easy; we removed the old unit, did some adjusting to accommodate the 24” for the new one, hooked up the lines and power cord, and we were in business. I love how quiet it is and how efficiently it cleans. My favorite feature is the third rack for utensils and kitchen tools. The bottom rack is adjustable and spacious, fitting my cooking pans. The drying cycle actually dries the dishes completely. I’m not sure I would use the AI feature, or maybe I need to learn and educate myself so I’m not quite so timid about it. The dishwasher has all the bells and whistles, and I’m quite impressed.

This dishwasher cleans very well. It cleans as well as dishwashers costing nearly twice as much. Consumer testing sites have rated it lower in the noise category than more expensive models; however, I find it as quiet as I would expect a dishwasher to be. You know it's running, but that's about it. Some have complained about its plastic drying ability. I find it dries my plastic items as well as, if not better than, any dishwasher I've ever owned, including those energy-gobbling, high temp models from the 1970s and 80s. On sale, you can find this model for less than $600, making it a great deal. I would give it five stars if it could clean the stubborn, baked-on food from my glass bakeware, a feat no dishwasher can perform.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very quiet running dishwasher. Probably the quietest I've ever had. However, I used the quick wash, even after I had rinsed and cleaned off a majority of the debris on the dishes, it did not get the dishes clean. I had to rerun on a regular wash in order for it to clean properly. My old dishwasher did it quick wash quite effectively. I am also concerned about the quality of materials used to create new modern dishwashers. They are quite unsubstantial and very flimsy and I'll be interested to see how long this lasts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes a long time to run this dishwasher. I use the normal cycle and select hi temp wash and sani-dry. The complete cycle time is approximately 4 hours and 12 minutes. So, I run it at night when I go to bed. Not sure if most dishwashers take this long nowadays to save water and energy. The quick wash cycle (1 hour) doesn't have a hi temp wash or sani-dry selection, so the dishes are wet when finished.
In its defense, the dishwasher is very quiet, runs great, and cleans/sanitizes the load. Looks really nice, too.

There are no fold-down tines on the bottom rack; only on the upper one, so it's difficult to wash large items, like crockpots, etc. The top rack doesn't go up very high, either, also making it hard to wash large objects on the bottom rack. On the standard dry cycle, there is still lots of water left on dishes - so I don't even bother using it. But, would I buy it again? Yes.

I have never had a 3rd rack or an adjustable rack and I find those are so useful. The only thing that I would say is that the wash cycle is really long. This unit replaced another Whirlpool unit and the cycle is almost twice as long but that is not a deal breaker. I would buy this unit again.

The rack rollers will probably be the first to go. I will say that it does get the dishes clean, but I don't know if I'd be putting my name on a product like that. Just being honest here. If I ever buy another appliance, it will be after I check it out in the store.

Just installed this Whirlpool and it looks fantastic in my kitchen. The fingerprint-resistant stainless steel is definitely 'shining' and stays clean even with daily use. It's quiet enough at 55 dBA and the top controls give it a very sleek, modern profile. It’s performing well right out of the box, but as with any new appliance, only time will tell if it stays reliable in the long run. For now, I’m very happy with the purchase!

I love the 3rd rack feature and that it's relatively quiet when running a wash cycle but I did notice that the door squeaks quite loudly when opening or closing and I miss the ability to delay the start of a wash cycle to work hours or overnight etc but otherwise it's a great appliance.

However, I wish the "Normal" cycle with the "Heat Dry" or "Extended Dry" took a less amount of time. The "Quick Wash" with the "Heat Dry" takes about the right amount of time but the dishes and dishwasher are still wet when the cycle finishes.

Capacity is similar but I do wish they would improve the fish and glass rack configuration for this segment. It's not as fast as prior and noise is slightly increased. It does seem to struggle to clean dishes as well as my previous model. In all it's fine for the price I paid but I would not put this in my next home.

I like the different types of cycles, using the quick cycle still gets everything clean—this is my go to cycle. I only use the other cycles if I know dishes have sat for quite a while and may have more stuck on food. It is much quieter than the machine we replaced.

My only complain is the wash cycles are too long 2 1/2 hours to 3 1/2 hours… if you wash the dishes on short cycle works very good with the heater on an extra high water temperature added I'll take the wash time down to an hour.. other than that good product very durable.

The downside is the third rack takes away interior space and I really don't use the top rack that often. Getting large casserole dishes or sheet pans in the machine has been a challenge.
