[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could leave you a great review, but I can't. You BLEW it on several features of the 505 MOMS I bought. The broiler on the bottom puts the cook at a great disadvantage because you are forced to bend WAY DOWN to use it where you have it. I don't think you took into account the fact that a disadvantaged person or a senior might need to buy the range due to its price. The 2nd problem are the grates on top of the stove. Trying to undo them so you can clean the stove is a big unneeded problem. These grates are way too heavy. Period. You would have been way ahead if you had made them a little lighter in weight and only cover the burner areas. The center burner could have been covered by a metal cover as is done by the Frigidaire design. I just bought your range to replace the Frigidaire because it had a bad computer board and several other problems, but their overall design is much better than what you have on the 505MOMS. I bought that because I wanted something all made in the USA. Also, the range got out the factory with the oval center burner off center, which means I am going to have to monkey around with the new range bib so it will fit. Last, the speed burners are too hot even on low settings. I am going to try to make hamburgers using the simmer burner so the meat doesn't get scorched before it's done. Before I forget, in today's society with time at a minimum, SELF CLEAN should be a mandatory part of the design.

Overall I am happy with the range. It cooks food really well. I don’t love how hot the 3 burners get. I had soup boiling on the lowest setting and had to move the soup to the simmer burner to actually get the desired lower temp. The oven cooks food well but I don’t love how the oven vent is on the top right side of the oven near the display. Overall they are small issues that I can look past for the great cooking function. Delivery and installation were incredibly easy. The oven was delivered missing a rack inside but I was able to utilize the text support at Home Depot and they had another wire rack mailed out to me fairly quickly. Overall I am happy with the range and would purchase again and will use Home Depot for my next appliance purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this range for almost a year now and it has pros and cons. Pros: it is super easy to clean, just lift the grates off the top and give it a good wipe down. The gas provides quick and steady heating, that is optimal for cooking and the range has proven reliable in this category. A minor con is that the timer is not very loud and only beeps a few times before turning off. I am in my twenties and my hearing is just fine and sometimes I cannot hear it go off if I am on the other side of house. It also only beeps a few times so when I come back into the kitchen the timer will have gone off and I had no idea. Anyways now I just set a timer on my phone but overall its a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice stove but I would say it's for slightly taller people without young children. During baking, the entire stove is uncomfortably hot (varies but 121-165 from grates to back surface to oven door and door handle). The height to top of grates is 37 3/8". Our counters are 36" high (o.k. for 5'-4" to 5'-8" tall people). The extra height of the grates along with another surface for coffee cups to rest on (the grate openings are too large for a hot cup to safely rest on) makes it slightly uncomfortable to work (pour, flip, stir) in my opinion. The oven light is at the front and the door window is very large so you can see the baking items very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using a gas range as well as induction; gas is better if you have Calphalon or other non-magnetic cooking pots! \nThere were no broiler pans; usually they come with the oven. \nCleaning is a bit harder than my Thermador gas range (different address) because the grates are in 2 large and rather heavy pieces; the Whirlpool is in a small kitchen and there is not much room to remove them, place the grates in the sink, and clean off the range top. I will figure out something. Otherwise, it cooks well, typical for gas; very responsive and the piezoelectric starters work well so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove a month ago and have been largely pleased with its performance and features. I don't use the fifth burner and feel like I could have done without it. I liked the center top area for a spoon rest on my old stove. Also the edge to edge cooktop makes cleaning harder because the iron grates are large and heavy. The whole cooktop must be done rather than maybe just one burner that had a little spill. \nThe thing I like most about the new Whirlpool are the two high BTU burners. It turns out a “watched pot does boil!!” Quickly! I like the broiler drawer but they could have included a dedicated rack so I wouldn't have to take one from the oven every time I use the broiler. One last thing, there is a support bar running horizontally across the back bottom of the stove. Because it hits the gas valve I have to leave the stove a couple inches away from the wall. Not only does it have a messy unfinished look but things are always falling back behind the stove from the counter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the multiple different cooking modes (No Preheat Air Fry and Air Baking, No Preheat Mode, Bake, Broil, and Keep Warm) for almost a month now, I’ve come to love this oven! The no preheat air fry mode is an absolute game changer for quick meals and is used multiple times a day in my home, thanks to my chicken nugget loving little ones. Baking multiple meals in the oven at once has also gotten easier than before, since this model offers Air baking. The air baking creates even baking between both racks with the use of a high speed fan. The fan can be a bit off putting if you’re standing in the kitchen trying to have a conversation while it’s on, so I suggest leaving the room while using the air features. Another one of my favorite features as a busy mom is the steam clean option! I don’t always have the time to take everything out and scrub the oven after every meal, but all you have to do is add water, run the cycle, and wipe the residue away after. Doing this regularly has helped me avoid having to use a bunch of harmful chemicals, trying to get off stuck on messes.

I came here to write a more critical review, but discovered a way to adjust the flame height which was my primary issue with the range.\n\nI bought this range when I retired, because the 20+ year old Maytag decided retirement sounded like a good idea. I wish I had repaired the old range rather than replacing it with this model.\n\nThe exterior of the range gets very hot when the oven is being used. A hot oven means a hot kitchen. \n\nIn order to use the broiler, you need to obtain a rack since one is not included. Once you have a rack. you have to sit on the floor to keep an eye on the broiling. \n\nI don't have measurements for my old range, but the cook top and the oven interior seem to be shallow. Four pans don't fit well on the cook top and the oven is the same depth as a cookie sheet. I have to rotate the pan to get even baking, which cools the oven off and heats up the kitchen. \n\nI was very excited to get this range, but actually using it is a disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this range for about 4 months now. It's okay, but nothing special. Likes: The large glass on the oven door, easy to see through, and easy to clean. The center burner is nice for using a griddle to do pancakes, French Toast and things like that. The grates on the stove a sturdy and cover the entire stove surface. Dislikes: the outside burners on the stove should be at least 2" further apart (closer to the edge), overall the unit seems to be build with very thin sheet metal, and the leveling feet seem to be really cheap. The front leveling feet were actually bent when I first removed the unit from it's packaging. I was able to bend them back and make them useful, but this shouldn't be built this cheaply. Lastly, every time I use the oven, once I shut it off, I get an Error F1 and E1. I've gone through the installation instructions several times but don't see where I did anything wrong or missed any steps.

It is wonderful that the grates extend the full size of the range top. \n\nThe only issue is that it doesn't have a rack in the broiler drawer. Luckily for me the gentleman who delivered my range had some older stoves on his truck, (ones that he's was taking for scrap) and one of them was the same size as what came in my range. He graciously offered to let me have it. Now I don't have to take one from the oven to use in the broiler and risk falling in the process!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love this range, it preheats in like 5 minutes, the oven is nice and big and glad that it has a broiler. The different burner heat is very convenient. I was a little concerned about the edge to edge cooktop with getting to hot near the end, but it doesn't. the only thing that bothers me a little is the broiler rack. I think because I was used to the whole broiler drawer pulling out and this doesn't, you have to pull the pan that you put in, in all it's a very good value for the price.

But I received the stove model without the center grill burner, this stove is nice but it is not what I had wanted. My wife likes the continuous flat top, it will make canning with large pots easier. The oven is about 2 inches wider than our old stove in the same overall width, it will be better for cooking a large turkey or multiple items at once. We like the black color the best.

I was able to easily adjust the flame height for the low setting to get closer to simmer range. But only the rear two smaller burners, and the center oval burner was able to to be lowered enough for a "low simmer" like my older propane stove (which was of 1989 vintage). But it is acceptable. Some interesting features for a 4 burner stove with broiler is that is has three burner sizes, two large in front, one small and one medium in rear. The grates are heavy which is a consideration for elderly people and not sure of durability if accidentally dropped on the floor. The grates have wide so cleaning with care. Have yet to use oven or broiler so can’t comment on that yet.

Also, after having an older cooking stove, I noticed the racks aren't as sturdy. I am sure newer stoves are this way now. I love how it looks, it cooks and bakes very well. This self-cleaning range operates much cooler and operates well. I would have given it 5 stars but the oven door requires a little more force to close tightly than I think it should. While heating it kept beeping and an error light came on. We had to turn everything off and reset as per what the error message said once we looked it up. Otherwise they have to take the rack out of the oven and put it in the broiler area & use the broiler pan that they had from their old stove.

I would have preferred it to be at the back and a regular burner at the front. But they I believe to be personal preference. I love the look of the grates. But they are big and heavy and hard to wash. Again this maybe personal preference but I have not found a use for the longer middle burner. I have no pans that size and cannot imagine what I would use it for. But that is not to deter from the product. Some may use it all the time, I just cannot think of a use for the way we cook. Overall I like the stove. It just is not perfect for me. Only complaint would be it takes too long to pre-heat.

Should I be preheating it before using? Everything else works as stated and I love that in the bake cycle it shows the temperature rising until it reaches the selected temp.
