After much thought and review of countless brands, types, product reviews I took a leap of faith on a relatively unknown brand (PRORUN) and so far it's the best decision I could have made for a high power/volume leaf blower. Simple and straightforward assembly even though the directions could use some tuning in a few areas. The blower tubes are really the only thing requiring assembly and then adjusting the harness to fit. Got it 2 days ago and finally today I had a chance to start it up and use it briefly. The start up was EASY (follow the instructions and you will have no problem). This is a fairly heavy machine so beware and I would strongly suggest you dry fit test it before use so you know how it will feel BEFORE you have it running. The power of this machine is incredible so please read and follow safety instructions (eye and ear protection is a MUST) because if you haven't used a machine with this kind of power it can be a bit overwhelming as it has hurricane force power but remarkably little to no vibration. If you need a blower with more power than you can imagine go BUY this one You will NOT be disappointed. It is a GREAT machine and you will NOT find a better one for the power and price. Very happy customer here and a new fan of PRORUN.

Had credit card points so decided to give it a try (free). Out of the box Assembly is simple for anyone. Packaging was great. Started up on second pull and ran great. Prime the fuel bulb on the bottom of the carb 4-6 times before starting and with choke on you are good to go. Recoil is going to be this blower’s down fall. It grabs super late. Not good if you have employees using it but homeowners should be fine. Off switch is kind of cheap feeling on first impression but time will tell on that one. It definitely shares a lot of it build characteristics from a red max 7000 series blower which is a very good commercial brand so that is a good thing and one of the attractions i had to this. Power is very good will handle leaf blower very well. Overall its not a bad blower I think for light commercial use and for homeowners it should last a long time especially for the price. Blowers do not get beat up to bad and mainly run full throttle so for now my review is 4 stars based on price, style/construction, quality and power.

We run both the stihl and husqvarna blowers and have scaled up our crew this year for heavy duty leaf cleanups. \r\nWe ordered this to give it a shot because we need a lot more blowers. \r\nAt 1/2 the price of both our more expensive models I’d say:\r\n\r\n It’s on par with the 570bts in every way and exceeds in carb accessibility and it has a support for the blower tube that elevates a lot of fatigue on long days. It’s something I wish my other models had. But I do wish it had a chest strap., \r\nIt shares the same power as the Br800. There are some nice conveniences for the BR800, (telescoping tube, hip start, slightly more throttle resolution) but 2X the price.\r\n\r\nWe will buy 2-3 more of these backpacks. I’d say for somebody just starting out commercially, this is a great option. As well as in my case when you need a lot more blowers and business is taking off. If they hit a few of those convenience points from the Stihl and kept it in the same price range it would be pretty hard to beat.

I have the PRORUN 76-cc 2-cycle 240-MPH 1020-CFM Gas Backpack Leaf Blower PBB2884 this is one of the best leaf blower I have ever used and I've used a wide range of different blowers and for the price I would have to say it's it's got the best blowing power and it's got a nice size tank it will last at least 2 hrs of continues use with no bogging out or decrease of power I love this blowers I would recommend this blowers to anyone that uses a blower for massive and little clean up projects this blowers will push all most anything you put in front of it great product go get you one if your in need of a blower you won't regret it and to top it all off they have the best customer service people I have ever delt with out of all the different businesses I have had to come into contact with thank you PRORUN for all you help you guys are A1 outstanding you have a loyal customer for life here

An obvious Chinese design, which has its list of quirks. The main one for me is the pull start mechanism feels cheap and every pull has me wondering if it will break. Parts appear available, but only from this company, as part numbers aren't specific enough to source elsewhere). Other annoyances include blow tubes that don't stay locked, a thumb screw that was too short, a carb that wasn't adjusted properly (ProRun said they couldn't send me the tool and offered no real other assistance despite it being a recent purchase). The unit does have impressive power, low vibration, is quite light given the alleged c/c count. Assembling all blow tubes allows it to get it within inches of the ground to fully focus blowing force. A reducer you can pop on the very last tube, I assume, increases air speed (at expense of CFM). Bottom line: Don't buy this unit if you are not handy and can't fix its shortcomings.

I was looking for something to make shorter work of getting rid of 2 years of leaves that have fallen on our property. I had another backpack leaf blower around 350CFMs that just wasn't cutting it. It took less time to rake them. \n\nI did some research and this PRORUN was easier on the wallet, but still boasts 1000 CFMs. \n\nThis thing is a BEAST. I was naturally (or unnaturally?) walking in circles after fighting the way it was torquing my body. It'll blow away piles of wet leaves, sticks, rocks, acorns, small children - you name it. \n\nRan like a top out of the box and has already seen several hours of use. It's heavy, so keep that in mind. It could also use another handle or strap so you can pull the blower tube with your left hand. \n\nMost importantly, I like to pretend it's a minigun as I walk around my property, yelling, "get in the choppa."

After doing my homework, I purchased this LB and it was shipped to me. I then discovered that the spark plug wire was broken while trying to start for the first time.Well I dialed up the support number and Sam picked up. I explained the situation and he immediately understood, apologized, quickly and easily verified my purchase and then set up a plan to make things right. Within 1 week I had a replacement LB delivered. I have been using it here in Michigan for the past two weeks and it works as good as the 5-star reviews suggest. Super powerful and moves a ton of leaves. Sam provided a text number for me to use in case I had any other concerns or issues. I wasn’t too happy about the situation at first but PRORUN made it right and demonstrated that they stand by their product and satisfaction of their customer.

Just assembled it today, and of course it's been raining for a week straight, but still wanted to test it. It blew away the wet leaves an impressive distance from where I was standing at my garage door. Noticeably more power than the stihl I've rented the last few years. Can't attest to fuel consumption or reliability yet, but will be sure to update as needed. BIG plus for me was the full breakdown and parts diagram plus part numbers in the manual. The only downfalls as others have mentioned: no place to securely hold it down while starting, and the shoulder straps seem a little chinsy, but the waist strap adds a lot of stability. So far I'm very impressed and excited for the leaves to dry up for a full test run.

Wow - this has amazing power. I bought this to replace an echo backpack blower which died just before the fall leaf season. I just received yesterday and it took 20 minutes to assemble. I thought I would take a few minutes to try it out. The power amazed me. I have 40 acres - 38 acres of hardwoods and a 2 acre yard where all the leaves accumulate at the bottom of the hill. My yard also has large sycamores that produce significant amounts of very large leaves. I blow leaves all October to stay ahead of the accumulating leaves. In this few minutes I was able to do all leaves that had fallen. This was half the time it use to take. This is a serious blower for someone who has a big leaf problem.

I owe a 5+ acre property. \r\nI have another backpack blower (Huskavarna) that I paid way more money for it and is not as strong as the ProRun.\r\nI had a small problem with the backpack blower (need the special tool to adjust the carburator) and I called the company to see if they sell those. Since I live around 10 miles away from their office, they offered me free of charge a brand new one. \r\nGuess how many times I had to fix the Huskarvarna backpack blower … and how much money I had to put in it… and waited for weeks to be fixed.

Like others, I was skeptical because I’m not familiar with the brand, however worth the gamble at 1/3 less than comparables. I will say I struggled to start it the first time. I think I flooded it because the manual mentions priming 10 times! That’s seems excessive. I’ve had no problems getting it to start after that first attempt, with just 3 or 4 priming pumps. The blower itself is powerful! Kiss your mulch goodbye because this will blow everything away :). Two modes, fast and beast mode.

After reviewing the competition I’m very pleased with my high flow blower.\r\nAlthough slightly heavier than my old blower the harness made it more comfortable and after using it for 1 1/2 hours didn’t feel any shoulder pain.\r\nOne feature that I really like is it has a cable that holds the weight of the tube so you only \r\nNeed to move the tube sideways while it is suspended by the cable.\r\nThe easy start pull is a great feature too.\r\nOverall a well designed unit 👍👍

I bought this back pack blower for my 5 acre piece of property with a new house and can see this being used all the time. It has no problem blowing a bunch of leaves. The long tube is really nice and the removable reduced tip makes blowing wet leafs out of the mud really easy. I even had ruts from a mini excavator and this thing leveled the dirt with its power that it has. I would definitely recommend this blower and it’s very well priced compared to name brand blowers.

This is my 3rd October with this Leaf Blower. I previously used my Grandpa's STIHL BR600. It doesn't always feel high quality. The back rest part isn't the most comfortable, the back straps don't have amazing padding, the blower tube is separated into 3 pieces that always fall apart when in operation, However what matters most on the Machine is top notch, It always starts on 2nd or 3rd Pull, It has power, Leaves, Wet Leaves, Pine Needles, pine cones, Twigs, Rocks.

Purchased this about a month ago, November, 2023. Pretty easy assembly process, fill it up with the fuel/oil mixture, and away we go. This has so much push to the air that many times I didn’t even use the accelerator as the air pushed the leaves and debris from the flower gardens with ease. Be careful though, with the accelerator handle attachment. Mine got into a bind and cracked. Prorun had a replacement to me in 5 days and all is good to go now.

It is very difficult to turn the switch between "stop" and "start/run". Some force that is strong enough to break the switch handle is needed to push the switch from running to stop or from stop to idle. Because it was so difficult, it took my more than a hour to get to know how to stop the machine.

This thing is a power house for what I use it for half throttle is enough. I had the echo 8010 when it first came out and this Prorun is a whole lot better in my opinion. Absolutely love it I left one tube off for my height and works great. Easy startup after getting it started the first time after that it’s only a couple of pulls and it’s ready to go . Save your money and buy ProRun thanks for a great product

This thing is absolutely awesome! You can't beat the price. I have a steel BR 800 and a Husqvarna 570 and you can get two of these things for the price of a br 800. They start right up and they got plenty of power. I've actually been using this thing more than the other blowers. So I highly recommend getting at least one and trying it out. But if you have three or four guys on your crew this is the way to go

This blower is a beast. Puts out a lot of air at high velocity. Easily blows clippings, leaves, and sand. Comparable power to top of the line name brands at a fraction of the cost. It is heavy but that comes with the power. Spring assist takes a bit of getting used to but really helps. You don't have to give it a sharp pull but rather a steady pull until the spring kicks in. So far so good.

The leaf blower was easy to assemble (the tools are provided). Once assemble the backpack leave blower does look bulky and is a little on the heavier side. The amount of power the leaf blower has is amazing. If you're looking for a powerful backpack leaf blower, this is it. I also use it to dry my vehicles when I hand-wash them, saves a lot of time and no swirl marks.

I was using a Echo 770 and decided to upgrade. After looking around, I decided to take a chance on the prorun pbb 2884. So happy that I did. This blower is amazing. It removes debris, fallen twigs,sticks and wet leaves.Making my work in the yard easy. The Prorun pbb2884 is lighter then the echo 770 that I was using. So glad that I brought this backpack blower.

I recently purchased this blower after trying a Hasquavrna that claimed to have wind speeds of 270 mph. The Prorun was very easy to assemble out of the box. Started right up after a few pulls and easily cleaned all of my leaves with ease. I did a lot of research on the Prorun and Echo X series. The Prorun offers incredible value and power for the investment!

The blower has a lot of power however the harness is quite disappointing. The buckles constantly bend and come loose from the attachment points. Also the first day I owned it one of the snaps for the chest support completely crumbled into pieces and I’m not sure why. This blower would be the best I’ve ever utilized if it wasn’t for the harness.
