After reading other reviews, we decided to purchase in-store to inspect it before purchasing. Reviews identify the manufacturer's poor packaging, which makes it risky to ship. See the photos: there's only 1/4" of Styrofoam on the corners (and some on the sides). It's simply not packaged for shipping as an individual unit. Buy one in the store and I think you'll be satisfied.

I saw a lot of reviews that the product was damaged, but thought “surely this can’t be a common occurrence”. Home Depot had 3 of these in stock, and 2 of them had very bashed up boxes. The one I got had the least damaged box, but the back of the freezer still has a really big dent. I don’t think it’ll impact the performance, and it’s on the back. But they really need to fix their packaging problem.

Purchased the refrigerator, no visible damage to the box. Unboxed it at home, there were several dents in the door and the frame where the door wouldn't completely seal. Brought it back to another store, as we had purchased the last available one at the first store, and exchanged it. Got it home, unboxed it, and yep, you guessed it, damage to the unit AGAIN. This time it was on a back corner so it won't affect the operation, but seriously? Someone needs to up their game with how these units are packed and shipped. If it had been for sale unboxed like this, there would have been an additional discount. I didn't know Home Depot was in the "scratch and dent" sale market.

Everything is ok as far as cooling goes but the door has a big dent and it’s really disappointing since it costs so much. Practically all the boxes in the store were damaged. We only kept this one as we wanted to avoid the hassle of bringing it all the way to the store and going through the process of replacing

I was looking for an extra freezer to put in my garage and this freezer was the perfect size. I liked the fact it was an upright. It freezes very well. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because when I unpacked the freezer the door had several deep dents, which I don’t believe was done during delivery. The freezer was packed very well. Customer Service was great and offered a deep discount plus they refunded my $35 delivery fee. I decided to keep it instead of going through the hassle of returning it.

My item arrived damaged. It had a large dent on the front door and large puncture through the back of the back panel. It was like someone returned it to the store damaged and the store shipped me a damaged item. The box was completely obliterated when arrived.

4 months in and I purchased a 5 year warranty… it started icing up… did the trouble shooting… manually defrosted etc .. still wouldn’t keep icecream frozen so I cranked it to max. It currently has no capability of keeping things frozen. I’ve now lost hundreds of dollars in food… and the company doesn’t care. The extended warranty is useless. Now I have to print a form.. throw away all my food… load up this pile of crap… bring it to the store and exchange it for another likely lemon

I bought 2 of these from Home Depot, the first week one crapped out and lost my frozen food fast forward 3-4 months now the other one has crapped out. I’ve lost probably $1200 worth of food so save your money and time done buy this junk.

Easy pick up from HD. Some exterior damage to the packaging. Hopefully the refrigerator is working correctly.

Althought the packaging did not appear damaged or dented, there is a dent in the side of the door. The freezer/refrigerator works well, but we are disappointed with the dent

I am very satisfied with the Vissani 7 cubic foot upright refrigerator/freezer. This unit will function as a freezer or a refrigerator depending on where you set the thermostat. The outside dimensions are approximately 57” H x 22” W x 22” D. The inside width and depth is approximately 15 inches square. I use a temperature monitor in all my freezers and it shows the Vissani freezer holding steady at zero degrees after my initial adjustment to the thermostat. This unit has a very tight seal, in fact so tight that you have to steady the freezer when you open the door. Which would be my only concern with it. I picked the unit up from my local Home Depot store. I have seen lots of complaints about damage, but my unit was in perfect shape.

After reading all the reviews about the fridge arriving damaged, I was skeptical about this purchase. I went out on a limb and bought the fridge. I picked it up instead of getting it delivered. Got it home and noticed what looked like a manufacturer defect. No big deal, I can live with that as long as the fridge performs like it is supposed to. Good enough for my outdoor man cave

Works well but came banged up. Box torn up pretty bad, so much I could see the fridge before taking the box off.

It arrived unusable and damaged had to return, and this was after the product was lost for a week

The instructions say the door is reversible & they include a part for the reversal of the door opening (top hinge) . I went to switch the door and started with the bottom and found out there are no tapped holes for the screws on the left side. I went to the store to exchange it and others were the same. After contacting support there only solution was to pick another brand. Make sure you dont have to change the door opening. Support is POOR!

I bought this refrigerator freezer for my kitchen not my garage and although I'm extremely pleased with it it is on the freezer mode only and it ices up quickly at the very top inside.

FedEx delivered it all banged up as usual with FedEx. One of the leveling feet was broken off. The door corner was bent down. \nThe unit itself is working fine.

Wished I read reviews before I purchased it. Damaged and looks like it was bought and returned. Took pictures as I carefully unboxed it. Glass shelves untapped. Outside dented. Plastic didn't even cover the entire item. Looks like someone pulled the plastic up.

I didn't like my fridge/freezer occupying a random wall in my garage. I was searching for a solution that would fit under some built-in cabinets I have. There aren't any fridge + freezer combos that do this well, so it was a niche ask.\r\n\r\nBecause this one can be set to fridge or freezer, it ended up being an excellent match to my needs. It is the perfect height, so I bought two: setting one to fridge temps and one to freezer temps. More capacity and better space utilization. Just great.

Just bought one with on sale price. Looks nice and right form my place. A bit disappointed is that it does not have interior light.

Bought this about a year and half ago, and like so many people mentioned it came pretty dinged up. Home Depot offered a small discount and unfortunately I took it. I just didn’t want to box it back up and take it back, I should have! Fast forward about a year and a half and we start smelling something bad in the garage (we thought it was a mouse trap we forgot about) but it wasn’t. Freezer had stopped working and we lost over $500 in food. The power supply was good, no popped breakers. It just died and of course it only comes with a one year limited warranty. \nDo Not Buy!!!!

This is a very well built stand up freezer. It holds a lot of foods to be frozen. It is a plug and play set up...easy peasy. We got the stainless steel front door and it looks great. I like the convertible feature of freezer or refrigerator at a twist of a dial. This is a great product. We opted for sta up vs box freezer because we didn't want constantly bend down and rummage for our food. I recommend this product. And it REALLY FREEZES your food!!!

The freezer seems to work just fine and isn’t too loud when running… but has a nice big dent on the front door.

Arrived a few days earlier than expected but unfortunately the box had some damage and so did the freezer. I contacted customer service and an associate named Alisha was extremely helpful in making things right and I really appreciate it! Other than the cosmetic issues the freezer got cold very quick and is bigger than I expected.

Took home unboxed and the front door dented. Did not read reviews first. Shame on me.
