Great blower, once I figured out how to start it for the first time! Instructions don't explain the entire process with priming the build, adjusting the choke properly. My neighbor is a devoted Echo user, and he described how he starts it, which gets it started with just a couple pulls. Once bulb is filled with fuel, give it 3-4 more presses of the bulb. Switch on, put choke fully closed. Give a couple pulls till it starts to kick. Move choke to half open, pull cord couple times, started! Put choke fully open, let it warm up for couple mins, then you're on your way! Some reviewers complain about tubes falling off - if need be, use 2 people to twist the 2 tube pieces together well, no problem. I have some numbness in my right hand from a spinal injury, and time will tell if the vibration will cause me more issues with my right hand or not (reason for 4, not 5 stars). I have Vibrastop gloves that I'll probably use when I have prolonged blowing sessions (usually I use it for quick cleanup, but in the fall, will be using for longer periods for leaves).

I bought this machine on recommendations from my supplier and friends and I'm not disappointed.It is easy to start and has a lot of power. I have a lot of hickory nuts falling from my trees and this is the only blower that I have used that moves them like dry leaves.I was amazed as we have a bumper crop this year and it still piled them up so I could then shovel them into buckets to dispose of. I have run it about 12 hours and it is a work horse making my job a lot easier. The only complaint I have is the extra guard they put on the intake port. The leaves that are blown up when working with a large amount in the wind get caught between the guard and the intake screen and are very hard to remove even when the machine is shut off. Lawyer guards is what I call them. Other than that, it's the best blower I've run and this number 4.ove the years.

I've had this unit a little more than a month and have used it at least on a weekly basis. I like the balance and light weight features of the unit. It starts within a pull or two and runs smoothly. It does take a little getting used to the air intake on the opposite side as compared to the unit this replaces. Finally, I like the way the unit is designed so that when you set it down on the ground, it will support itself squarely and not roll over. This allows for storage on a shelf if you so desire. \r\nConcerning the value and quality, it is hard to give the unit a higher value than good only because I have not had enough time with the unit. I expect it will be excellent but I would like to wait until I have a full season under my belt before I give a final review.

No Lower Nozzle Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw a lot of negative comments about the lower nozzle tube falling off. NOT TRUE! The plastic catchlugs are slightly helical like a thread. If you start the turn at the proper location on the upper tube the lower tube will make a 1/4 turn and snap into place. I had this unit under power in 15 minutes and love how well it works. 3 days later the lower tube has NOT fallen off I don’t expect it to. Download the user manual and all maintenance is explained. Very easy on fuel consumption too. 1/4 to 1/2 throttle does the job nicely. I would also recommend hearing protection. The unit is not exceptionally loud but long usage becomes annoying.

Found myself needing a new Leaf Blower when I could no longer get parts for my old one. Did my research online and decided I would buy an Echo. I have an Echo Chainsaw which is an excellent tool. I went to a local store that cerries Echo products picked up the display model of the PB-2520 and found it to be much lighter than the blower I had been using and bought it. Got home, un-boxed the unit, assembly was a snap. Gassed it up with fresh 50:1 and pulled the starter rope after priming, started on 2nd pull. I found it to be quite powerful, far more than my old unit. Did a really nice job moving even wet leaves. If you're in the market for a hand held leaf blower this one deserves a look.

This blower is awesome! It starts up within 3 pulls every time I use it! More than enough power for regular consumers using it for work around the lawn. If you have lots of acreage or own a business I would recommend one of Echo's bigger backpack blowers! I gave the PB-2520 a 4 star review only because I've heard that the ignition coils sometimes go out on the models. Although I haven't had the issue, if it is fixed, this blower will be by far the best entry level handheld blower offered by any company! I have an echo SRM-225 weed trimmer that is a 2009 model and still use it to this day! I will forever stand by Echo power equipment!!!

I have owed many blowers, e.g. 7-10 units. This unit by far is the best one ever. Out of the box, its performance was great. Filled with gas and 3 pulls of the rope, and it was running. I must point out a couple of features that are worth mentioning. 1# having the speed control is completely awesome. Not having to hold the speed trigger is unbelievable. No fatigue on the index finger. #2 the interlocking tube is to assemble, having the ability to adjust the length is really cool. #3 fuel consumption is great. \r\n\r\nI would recommend this unit to all homeowners, make this Echo unit your next purchase, you won't regret it.

After my purchase of the PB-2520, I also purchased their Red Armor oil. Mixed it 50:1. The blower started on the second pull, let it warm up a bit before giving it throttle. I could tell right off it wasn't running right, but I thought...it's the factory carb settings. I continued the clear off everything after mowing. This blower just didn't seem like it was running right. I pulled the plug and it was Snow White! It had been set like that from the factory I assume. The carb was running super lean. I used my 12-year old Hitachi to finish. Looking at taking it to a dealer to get adjusted before I use it again.

I just bought my blower yesterday. I have such a hard time putting it down because it is a great tool and lots of fun to use. It has a lot of power and is very lightweight. The blowing force is superior and easily blows wet leaves from the soaked concrete in my yard after a rainstorm. It has a great idle speed, which is ideal for blowing the leaves into a pile without blowing them all over. It is a great product to use, and I strongly recommend buying this blower. It has a great price, and is my favorite handheld blower I have used. Great experience so far. Thanks to ECHO for the great product! It is definitely a keeper!!

This PB-2520 leaf blower puts my old electric one to shame on every level ! \n\nI have nothing but good things to say about both of my pieces of Echo equipment, everything starts and runs well, is reliable and my 7+ year old Echo chain saw has proven to be rugged and reliable after maintaining my badly neglected 20+ acre wood lot all that time.\n\n One would be hard pressed to find any better quality power tools in the price point Echo offers and honestly the ones I own and have way out performed much of what I've owned in the past no matter what the price point .\n\nEcho products are top notch IMHO.

In a thirty plus, year period, I have purchased two ECHO handheld blowers. As time went on, I continued to be satisfied with their performance and dependability. Honestly, I was somewhat, disappointed to learn the previous models I purchased, were discontinued and I can only hope I receive the same satisfaction with this new design, model. So far, I am confident this unit will last fifteen plus years as my previous models have. I bought this blower and a weed eater about a month ago on the advice of my son. He brought the weed eater to me from Houston and showed me how to use both without losing sight, fingers, toes, or hearing. These replace old electric tools which required about 200' of extension cords due to the size of the lot at my new house. The tools work wonderfully but I only use non ethanol fuel. I am lucky to have a station near me. As a 67 year old active man, these tools reduced my edging and weeding time by about half. I can now use this time for other endeavors, such as fishing!!!!

I've had this blower for about a month now and it has performed well. It starts easily and does the job. It's not the most powerful blower in the world, but I wasn't expecting that at this price point or with this model. I primarily use it to blow grass clippings off a very long concrete driveway and walkway, and it works well. It's fairly light and does not vibrate too much in hand, nor does it cause excessive rotational twisting at full speed. It takes a little while to warm up, but after about 5 mins. it can hit max speed and generates a good deal of airflow.

This blower is a beast. Most powerful hand held blower I have ever used. This makes by previous blower, a BG86, seem weak. Assembly was literally a snap and after filling the fuel tank with RedArmor premix, it started on the 3rd pull. After a very short break in period, I used it for blowing lawn clippings back on my lawn after edging and this thing has some serious power for a hand held blower. Sound wasn't too bad and it is on the heavy side, but still well within reason. If you want a real good blower with a lot of power, this is the one for you.

Great Echo quality. As many reviews explain, there is a warm-up period, which I don't experience with my older Echo GT200R weed trimmer but once it's warmed up it's ready to go. I struggled a lot with trying to understand the differences between this and the 2620. I really wish Echo did a better job of marketing both and their differences, but there are plenty of independent YouTube videos to help make your own decision. I chose the 2520 because it's what was in stock, and many reviews I did find couldn't show any real negatives of the 2520.

I've always used consumer grade blowers. I have had echo trimmers/saws and loved them. When my blower went out I finally upgrade. Man what a difference! Starts perfectly and has fantastic power. I really love the throttle lock. It's too early to saw it's longevity but I think it's safe to say it'll be good considering how long my other echo products have performed.\r\n\r\nThe first blower I purchased didn't work right. It would not throttle all the way up and shook a lot. I returned it to Home Depot and they exchange it out without any trouble.

Don't expect this leaf blower to be as powerful as the backpack style blowers but for small to medium size properties it should do the job. I have an 80x120 yard with a lot of oak trees just off my property. I had an electric blower that was just slightly faster than a rake. So when it bit the dust I decided to upgrade with something (within my budget) more powerful. I'm very happy with how powerful Echo blower is. Was able to move deep piles of leaves and did it twice as fast as my old electric blower. Highly recommend.

I bought this based upon research and durability of other Echo products. I like the wider base and the straight tube. Filters (2) are an improvement for engine protection and the chrome-lined bore should help longevity. With the split tube ,wet leaves come up.Additionally, cranking is easy w/o flooding. Idle was smooth right out of the box. The engine on another leading brand had bearing problems and the cost of repair caused replacement. Switching to Echo was a result. The 5 year warranty for home use was a plus.

So far this blower has met all expectations. Easy to start and light weight makes it easy to use. I had contemplated a more powerful blower but this works great for my needs .In mulch beds, it has the power to move leaves but it’s not so powerful that it lifts up and disrupts all the mulch….so…I think a more powerful blower would have been a waste in the mulch beds. Overall works great for the price ..and made it a little easier to justify the extra cost of the gutter cleaning kit …will be trying that out next

I bought the echo weed eater and I like it, so I got this too for my yard work business.\r\nSome people think the plastic is sharp but mine was not.\r\nSome people think the tube will fall off, but I think they put it on wrong; push it all the way in then twist 90 degrees.\r\nThe power is good.\r\nThe throttle lock is good.\r\nYou do not to push the throttle hard unless your pushing rocks instead of leaves.\r\nIf you tie it to a skate board and lock it at full throttle, you won't be able to catch it. Try it.

I bought this Echo PB-2520 From Home depot In Crystal River, FL Today Because My Husavarna 125B stopped working after 6 yrs. I figured i would give this brand a try because it comes with a 5 yr warranty. I brought it home & took it out of the box & put the tubes together & put gas mixture in the tank & did what the directions said to do & it fired right up. I shut it off & it started right back up. I used it for 5 minutes before it started raining here. I hope this last longer than 6 yrs like my old one did

Looking to buy a new handheld blower for awhile now i had purchased a lower priced model thinking i needed to save some money however the cheaper model lasted like one day only and wouldnt start the second day. and so i took that back and picked up the Echo PB2520 it is expensive but i would rather have quality and reliability over a cheaper price. one thing i noticed about the Echo is it started on the second pull and same thing when i went to use it the following day.

This blower has tons of power! The throttle keeper lever is a nice feature and helps with hand fatigue. I am super impressed by the power output, as it pulls leaves up that are buried under grass. I would give it 5 stars if it hadn’t been such a pain to get started out of the box and if the blow tube attached to the machine more securely. It’s a little loose fitting and the bottom portion occasionally pops off. Over all I would recommend this blower.

This can be very confusing. You prime perhaps 3 to 4 times. Engage the choke fully. Push the ignition switch to the run position. Pull the start rope once. Then you disengage the choke and keep pull the starter rope until the blower starts. That's the only way it works for me. If you continue to pull the starter rope 3 or 4 times with the choke fully engage, you will flood the carb and starting is impossible.

It starts easy and is light weight. It has decent power for its size. I do have a couple issues with it. The muffler and engine get extremely hot because of the catalyst in the muffler. The muffler outlet is very small. I dont see an easy way to get the catalyst out without cutting the muffler apart. I dont like that you cant adjust the carburetor without taking plugs out and buying an expensive special tool.
