The piece is lovely. I would have given it five stars except that one of the cabinet door latches was loose, one of the two screws attaching it was missing, and the screw holes for it were stripped. We had to fix it. This seems like a quality control issue, a very obvious problem, something that should have been caught at the factory. Otherwise it's a beautiful piece of furniture, and it arrived in excellent condition. We are very happy with it.

This TV stand is sturdy, with a rustic, yet elegant appearance. The chevrons are a combination of wood and German Foil. To the best of my recollection, the description on the Wayfair site mentioned that it was made of mango wood, but did not mention this German Foil treatment or its maintenance requirements, so it was a surprise. That said, I am pleased with it. The packing for delivery was well done and the stand arrived without damage. The vertical openings at the back for wiring were easy to deal with.\nThe negatives are that the inside work is not well finished, many pieces are not sanded, so will be more difficult to clean. The shelves are cut to roughly fit the inside space, but not cut to exact specs, so they rattle a little side to side. Also the middle door leans to the left a little and needs adjustment to prevent the current rubbing on the bottom. It cannot be sanded due to the Foil. The magnet on the right door is so strong that it is a battle to pull that door open. For the price, I expected to have these issues dealt with via quality control before delivery to the client. I did not expect to have to fuss with these details. \nOverall, I like the size and appearance of the stand, but would like to see the manufacturer step up for quality control of the finished piece.
