A few bad pieces, overall good

I am pleased with the dresser now that it's finished. However, some of the pieces have poor build quality. For some of the drawers, the channel in the back and side panels didn't line up properly, so the bottom panel wouldn't slide into place and sit properly. On one of the drawers I had to hammer in the bottom panel to make it fit in the misaligned channel. Also, one of the supports that go under the drawer broke apart while I installed it due to poor quality. 5 of the 6 drawers built ok, but 1 had all the issues. Overall building it was very laborious but the result is good and sturdy except for 1 drawer which probably can't hold as much due to a weak support.

This is a pity since this is nice looking dresser that uses good materials, and is relatively easy to build.\n\nPROBLEM: The drawers only pull out halfway. One of the drawers does pulls out less than halfway. There doesn't appear to be any way to troubleshoot the problem since the drawer rails are premounted. Because of this it's like having half a dresser. If you utilize the back half of the drawer, chances are you'll forget what you stuffed back there and never see those clothes again simply because they are not visible at all when the drawers are open. The only way to utilize the back half of the drawers effectively is rotate clothes between the back and front of the drawer. But that's inconvenient and not happening. So the only way to effectively use the dresser is to use the visible front half only. But that's like having just half a dresser, which is a waste.\n\nIMAGE: The image shows the drawer fully extended. The inside of the drawer is about 16". But the drawer will extend out to only about 7". You have to peer into the drawer to see the rest of the 9". It's like having an unwanted hidden compartment in every drawer.\n\nAshley should come out with a fix to this problem.

The shelf was a fast and easy to build project that took less than 1.5 hours to complete.
A lot of the parts used to keep things in place is a bit questionable on the sliding shelves themselves, i really dislike the idea of using plastic + bendable screw pieces, this misaligns the shelves due to how bendable the pieces are (even when they are properly inserted).

The dresser is very nice, has a beautiful finish, and has nice clear instructions on how to assemble. I managed to build it by myself but it did take double the time stated in the instructions which is reasonable since it mentioned two people are needed. The only part I am disappointed in is that the draws only extend about half of their depth, so you have to feel around blindly if anything is stored at the back of the draw. Honestly I probably would not purchase again. I do like the appearance but it was a pain to put together & the quality of the material is definitely not what I expected especially purchasing from Ashley's. It wasn't real wood and the quality was poor. The baseboard does not stay on and the fake wood splintered with a touch . It is cute but not worth the hassle nor the quality.

You get what you pay for. It'll do the job but don't leave anything wet on it and be careful with the corners. This is pressed wood. Also the Dresser came with instructions for the most part. It's missing directions for putting together the drawers. I've not fooled with it yet because I know it's going to take a minute to figure out. Saving it for my day off.

This is essentially an Ikea-style dresser, except better quality. The MDF is better quality and it's really easy to put together. They even pre-installed the slides on the drawer pieces eliminating a huge chunk of assembly. My only complaint is the drawer faces are attached with a slide-in metal tab rather than a fastener. This makes the drawers easier to assemble, but I feel like if the drawer gets jammed and someone yanks on it, the drawer could break. \n\nWe've had it for a month now and it's holding up well to a 6 and 8 year old sharing a room. Great price and I'd definitely buy it again.

These dressers are forsure "you get what you pay for", i've only had this dresser for 4 months and its extremely flimsy. One of my dresser drawer slides came off and my whole drawer broke off. I am unable to find a part for it to repair it and its unfortunate as this is such a nice dresser and have only had it for 4 months.

It's nice and a little sturdy. Assembly takes a while but it's not too complicated. Some parts might come cracked ( like mine ) or a crack is soon to happen. The plywood that goes in the back is not measured to fit perfectly, so be careful, so you don't nail it up top and then realize it won't completely cover the bottom.

It was an easy assembly, i did it by myself in less than a hour and a half. The dresser itself is nice but my biggest disappointment is the height. I am 5’5 and dresser is below my waist, but i guess that’s my own fault for not looking at measurements.. i gave it a 3star because of the height, besides that dresser is ok.

Space at the bottom, not enough pod to cover. Wood wasn't drilled out . Hard to assemble and we assemble a lot of furniture. Drawers make a noise when pulling out. Now they are deep enough. I was hoping for more space under piece for easy cleaning. There's only about 1 inch. Also one of the draws front was scratched maybe because the paper covering is very thin. It was easy enough to assemble for I did it by myself. So out of the kindness of my heart I'll give it 3 stars mainly because of the low price.

Beautiful dresser, solid build, easy to assemble, but the drawer slides that come with it are completely useless. On a 17 inch deep drawer they only open to 6 and 3/4 inches. We ordered new drawer slides to put in it, but if those don't work we will definitely be returning the dressers as they are useless as is

Design Flaws, but easy to assemble. It took a month to get here but when it did only took a little while to put together. However the bottom of the drawers are pretty flimsy so when you put clothes inside the weight of the clothes pushes on the bottom of the drawer which prohibits the drawer from opening.

Aesthetically, the dresser looks good. However, the craftsmanship is not. The prefabricated sections are misalligned and therefore, we are unable to use the drawers properly. Also, the final instructions did not work for doing the final screws from the drawers to the prefabricated metal sections.

I hired a company to put it together they said I should complain because it was cheaply made and they had to add wood glue to make it secure. They said eventually the drawers would ware and Break. It does look nice but the assembly overall not made to be the most hold up dresser around.

It looks very nice but is a lot more cheaply made than I expected given the price. All pressboard, I'm pretty confident if I sat on it it would break and I am a small man. Functions well though, eventually I will give it to my kids and buy something more sturdy for myself

I'm impressed with the look of the dresser. It looks nice in my space. \nWhen having it assembled the holes for the last drawer were damaged and the assembly person could not get the screws to stay in. Therefore the last drawer is not useable. This was super disappointing.

The plastic nails for the drawers are a fail. The bottom face piece leaves a gap between the bottom and the drawers. The drawers don't all align perfectly. As the saying goes. You get what you pay for. Ashley used to only sell nice stuff.

Beautiful, heavy, sturdy dresser. Not too complicated to assemble but definitely need two people. The only things I would critique are the drawers and the bottom frame piece in the front under the bottom drawer. The drawers do not open fully only a little more than half way and the bottom frame piece under the bottom drawer sticks out slightly so it is not in line with the drawer. Other than that, I am satisfied with the dresser.

It was easy to put together. It was shorter than what I was hoping for but tags not why I have it 4 stars. The backing wasn???t long enough for the nails to go through the border so the bottom of our dresser backing has no nails holding it. And 2 of the drawers the screws for the part that allows the drawers to slide in and out don???t line up at all so they keep getting stuck or won???t close all the way
