[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a compact unit and fits well into a small space. The washer did an excellent job getting items cleaned and the dryer works very well. The only drawback - we are using this in our AirBNB. Guests tend to destroy the lint filter in the dryer, requiring us to replace the filter often. I wish the filter could be sturdier and more difficult to break. Also, the washer has a lint filter and we have already seen problems with guests figuring out how to remove, clean, and replace it. Of course, if we were the only ones using the unit, the lint filter issue would not be a problem. Otherwise, it's a very good unit. I like the 'auto-fill' feature of the washer. It's a good-looking unit.

The machine leaks sometimes. I have had the whirlpool repair service to look at the machine. He ran the machine, however it did not leak. he left I did another wash and it did leak. A little water on the floor is not a big deal, however it shouldn't leak at all and how do I know a little water will not lead to a lot of water.!\r\nI received the machine on Sept 10 and the next day I spent the better part of the day trying to contact whirlpool service and got the biggest runaround you can imagine. I spoke to 9 different people and for the most part spent 20-30 minutes on hold waiting for a representative. At some point I asked for a supervisor and was disconnected, the agent never called me back and she had my phone number. When I finally reached someone to make an appointment for service, i was told that if there was nothing wrong with the machine I would be charged a service fee!\r\nAt last I finally was able to get to a Home Depot representative, Julie and she was most helpful. \r\nSo, the machine works fine, it is the water on the floor that I have a problem with. \r\nSuggestion for the company - it is a portable machine however on one side the handle is toward the front of the machine and on the other side it is toward the back. I am pretty sure that most women do not have the arm span to reach both handles at the same time! Not sure what the rational was in placing them like this. \\\r\nI have included pictures of the machine leaking, blue tape shows where the water is coming from and a picture of the handle near the back side of the machine. \r\nSure hope someone really reads this review, and if possible I would like to thank Julie for her concern and assistance. Out of 10 calls she was the only person who actually showed concern and calmed me down. \r\nI am adding 2 photos hope they are clear enough to show my concern with the water and the second one is just as a suggestion to the company.

However, you have to maintain it by washing it on self clean mode every other months and keep the washer's lid open to avoid bad odors after each wash. I would also make sure to use the appropriate cycle depending on the texture of material because if not, the machine can shred your clothes. I would also avoid using the washer and dryer at the same time to avoid potential electrical issues. Also, I find the machine very noisy on certain cycles. Overall, it's performing well so far with no major issues and it fits very well in small spaces. That is why I rate it 4 stars.

I bought to replace a stackable unit in our beach condo. I need a full size and was worried this would not fit in our small laundry space (the model that did fit was no longer available and this one was a little deeper). Luckily it did fit. It has great features and so far so good. I was only there a week but did several loads and it worked well and pretty quiet. My only complaint is that the dryer door is hard to open and close. I guess the latch is really tight but hopefully with loosen just a bit with time. Overall very happy with the purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The washer is very nice, easy to use, decent electronic aids and takes more laundry in the small drum than I anticipated. I don't much like the in-drum filter which can be tricky to line up to click back into place. The washer seems modern in design unlike the dryer, which is very low tech in comparison. One old-fashioned round cycle selector and an on/off button. That's it. The dryer does not even buzz at finish (unlike the washer!). I guess the development cash ran out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Whirlpool washer dryer combo is very quite and does a fantastic job on cleaning the clothes. Plus I love the WASHER CLEAN CYCLE. I put a cleaning tablet in twice a month and it kills all the possible mold and gunk that a person doesn't see behind the spin basket. I also can't believe that all this works on a 120v 20A outlet. The clothes take a little longer to dry, but not by much. This was a great purchase. It replaced a gas GE WASHER DRYER COMBO. I definitely feel this was a much better appliance.

Our previous washers were front loaders that did a great job getting the clothes clean but all of the newer models had bells and whistles that we didn't think added value. We've run pretty big loads with gardening clothes and they've come clean. The dryer works well and dries the clothing quickly. My only complaint is that the washer's a little hard to unload because of the lack of overhead clearance.

It has manual options but I've had some trouble learning how to implement them. I have been used to all cold water wash and rinse which this machine apparently doesn't like as it will automatically jump to warm water wash even if I manually set it for cold water. I think I have figured out that if you opt for cold water you also have to set it for a longer wash cycle. I won't know for sure until my next laundry day.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had an earlier model of this product and liked it very much, and I am happy to have something similar. It appears to wash very well. It has a larger capacity of washer and corresponding dryer. I am still getting used to its idiosyncrasies, but that is my problem, not the product's. My only quibble is that the height of this model allows it to wobble during spin. My. last one, only slightly shorter, did not wobble so much. I am working on stabilization that gives me greater comfort.

I have owned stackables before, and found this one to have greater capacity and speedier cycles than the others. The only drawbacks I found were that the clothes get all wound together in the washer (not that other washers don't do that), and that both the washing and drying seem very noisy. However, I've never had a unit right in the middle of my home before, so it might be that it's really just normal noise.

However, the dryer is really hard to open for me I have serious osteoarthritis in both thumbs and I even smacked my thumb against the wall trying to open it. If you have a solution for this please let me know. The dryer is not noisy as other people say it's fine. the wall trying to open the dryer. If there's a way to make it easier to open I wish you'd let me know because that's not...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after my Maytag “died”. So far, it works fine except for the dryer on the auto mode. If too many items are in the dryer drum-even if they fit, they do not dry well. When it is on the timed mode on the dryer, the clothes and items will dry well. \r\nThe stack is very easy to use it is a little noisy but overall a 4 out of 5. I like that it's not as big as the other one I had but I can't wash super big quilts anymore. Not a huge deal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stacked washer dryer works very well, although the dryer door does not stay open as the installer did not make sure that the machine was level! My only complaint about the efficacy of the dryer's performance is the lint filter does a poor job at capturing the lint. The lid of the filter is not tightly fitted and I think it is a poor design. I would have preferred the filter to be in a vertical drawer in the front of the machine.

I bought this machine to replace a full size stacked washer and dryer that was installed on the second floor of my townhouse that vibrated so badly that it cracked the ceiling in my living room. This machine, while small, doesn't vibrate at all. It works excellent. Clothes come out clean. Dryer works great. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it is very loud. The washer works very efficiently. It doesn't have the capacity to wash large loads, and does not have the option to use less water for small loads. The machine pauses when you lift up the lid, and you must hit the start button again to continue the wash. Because the start and power button are close together, one must be careful not to totally shut off the machine by hitting the power button by mistake.

I love this washer because it is easy to use, and fits perfectly in my laundry area. It is small and requires you to do several loads if uoh have lots to wash but it works perfectly for my us (family of 3) we wash 3 times a week. Thick blankets, drapes, amd thicker materials are not a good idea in this machine. They will take up all the space in the tub and cause the washer to leak because ut is too full

I've had it about a month now and i like it. For a single male or maybe two person household it is nearly perfect. Load size is a little small so it take an extra load to get the same amount done also it takes a little longer to get my clothes as dry as i like. However, I don't like one thing. It's a powdered detergent dispenser. After stop machine, there are some water left in the dispenser. Is there any good idea to avoid leave water in it?

I bought this a month ago and I might have made a mistake. The Washer / Dryer combo has great looks and seems to function as described. I think it important to share the following concerns: The washer lid is very heavy and held open by a magnet. You must hold it with one hand as you close it. If you let go, make sure your hands are clear of the opening or you will experience the pain of it falling on you. Please be aware that both the water level and the drying time are automatic. We are experimenting on how to control this attribute better. We now keep the instruction book handy because the Washer / Dryer instructions are underneath the washer lid. You have to get on your knees to read them (see photo). Crazy.It would be nice to have a dryer alarm to alert you for no-iron clothes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The washer is great but the dryer needs improvement. My clothes take a long time to dry, even when I put my clothes on the high setting. Give yourself extra time to dry everything. 4 out 5 stars.

The washer is easy to use and gentle on clothes, but comes out with a lot of wrinkles when I didn't get it out immediately for airdry. The dryer is a little bit too powerful. It's enough to use the lowest setting. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.

I am 5' 3" and too short for this unit. Be sure you are tall enough for this laundry center. The basket is pretty deep so I have to stand on my tiptoes to get to the bottom and remove clothes, and also have to be very careful standing back up so that I do not hit my head on the sort of sharp edges of the lid/closing mechanism. The dryer door is relativeely small and there is a high lip to get into the dryer, again a bit of tiptoe standing to be sure everything has been removed. The controls, of course, are on top of the unit. I wasn't able to actually see the unit in person when it was ordered.. definitely not a good plan and not recommended. Carefully make sure you can use your unit in the ways you want to before buying. The best thing so far about this laundry center is that the dryer is quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we are pleased with our laundry/drier equipment. Is very fast, thus saving energy and water, and cleans/dry very thorougly. However, we are little concerned about a stain that suddenly appears in the drier exhaust panel (see photo).
