KitchenAid has always produced a great stand mixer and it is not a surprise that the Mini is any different. There are many similarities to its full size counter part, precision motor head, sturdy stand, attachment hub, beautiful finish, but the compact compact design is what impressed me. The Mini fits under my cabinets with the motor head in the up position, allowing more counter space out front(and I need all the space I can get at times). The motor head has more then enough power to do what I need, whether it was mixing up a batch of cookies, kneading bread, making homemade whipped cream, or even grinding chicken with my KitchenAid food grinding attachment, the Mini performed flawlessly. The speed adjustments allow you to choose the perfect speed and the soft start feature helps keep your ingredients in the Stainless Steel 3.5 quart mixing bowl. It comes with three accessories, flat beater, dough hook, and wire whip. I personally prefer the optional flex edge beater over the flat beater, but with the three included attachments, you can do it all! The only con that I have is KitchenAid didn't put a handle on the mixing bowl, it's nice to have a positive grip on the bowl when your hands are messy, but this is not enough to reduce my rating. If you've been looking for a smaller stand mixer with full size power and features, the KitchenAid Mini will not disappoint. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

I had an unexpected hand surgery that put all my baking, mixing, and kitchen prep fun on hold for about 8 months. I was gifted this mixer to keep the joy of baking in my life while my hand healed, and now that I'm post surgery it is still wonderful since my former strength just isn't there anymore. It fits beautifully and compact on my already crowded counter. I use it about 2-3 a week and haven't had any issues with it. The BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT is really the lack of attention Kitchenaid has given to accessories for this mini stand mixer. I get that it is still a new thing, but it is very sad to see such an awesome item and devout fan base get sidelined by a company not seemingly interested in created a 3.5 qt version of certain attachment the beater paddle or the ice cream maker. Or could we get some pretty bowl design options? Maybe the bread bowl or something with a pattern? Seems like a lost opportunity and I'll be waiting to see if a 3rd party can fill this void.

Every Filipino store I come across, I will always try their breads but nothing compares to the one I could remember eating when I was a child. That is where I have decided to start baking. Of course, I went to the tried-and-tested favorite stand mixer. Since it's my first time baking, I only opted for a small one but I was surprised with the capacity of it. I am amazed with how much you can put in it considering it is just a mini mixer. It also has a powerful mixing muscle and can tackle almost any mixing. I have used it almost every weekend since I bought it and I love it! Perhaps, I could be baking bread like a pro in no time :) Thanks KitchenAid!

I decided to take the plunge and get a Kitchen Aid mixer after a less than stellar experience when baking chocolate chip cookies with a handheld mixer. It was a PITA. I bought my Kitchen Aid stand mixer and am very happy I did. My mother has one which she bought before the year 2000, when she was about my age. That is why I named my new mixer my "Retirement mixer" as I expect decades more of fabulous service from it. I made molasses crinkles with my new mixer and appreciated the ease of using it. I picked this model as opposed to one with a 5-quart bowl because of my smaller kitchen, but this mixer has more than adequate room for my recipes with its 3.5 quart bowl. I highly recommend this mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great machine that can sit on the kitchen bench with a small footprint. It is perfect as it doesn't hit the overhead cupboards when the tilt head is up. I was delightfully surprised at how quiet the motor is compared with my previous mixer, the slow start makes flour clouds a thing of the past. Compact bowl fits easily in the dishwasher. I have used it for making bread dough and the coating on the dough hook makes getting the dough off very easy, it mostly just glides off by itself when the head is raised. There is a good amount of space to add ingredients as the mixer is operating. If you are not doing big batch cooking, this mixer is ideal. Oh and it looks quite dinky for those who appreciate aesthetics.

But now I’ve retired and have a smaller kitchen and wanted a mixer I could keep out, even with limited counter real estate. And it had to be a KitchenAid. \r\nA month ago I bought the 3.5 quart Artisan. The large mixer has been put away for large occasions. So far in the last month I’ve made a cake and homemade biscuits. I’ve not been disappointed. It works as well as the 6 quart, just on a smaller scale. It’s easy to clean and takes up less space. Accessories can be used with either. I’m very glad KitchenAid has kept up the quality!

The mini is a great size mixer and I am happy to have it. Certain reviews online suggest it is too small to be helpful but that is not true in my case. It can make a regular size batch of chocolate chip cookies. And perhaps people who knock the size do not understand that some of us already have other mixers for times when we want to make big quantities. What I like best about this mixer is I don't have to hold it constantly and avoid splattering stuff out. I can add ingredients while it is mixing. Most importantly, I can effectively mix small batch dessert recipes and the paddle reaches to the base of the bowl. And it's also very cute and easy to put back into my pantry.

I have owned a few KitchenAid mixers, the larger bowl lift models. I currently own a commercial grade bowl lift mixer. It is heavy and a bit awkward to move around. Hence... thought I'd try the Artisan Mini. It is super easy to move around. Just as the larger models, it has more than enough power to both mix smaller batches of dough and operate all my accessory attachments. My meat grinderattachment requires the most power and this little fella doesn't even grunt! On top of all these advantages, it has the quietest motor of any of the other mixers I've owned. If its 3.5 qt capacity is large enough for your needs, then get one of these minis.

The more compact size means that it takes up less bench space but still stands out as a feature in the kitchen. I love cooking Italian food and my Mini has been perfect for mixing and kneeding pizza and pasta dough with the included dough hook. The amount of time and mess it saves is insane. For anyone questioning the size, the Mini has been big enough to create 7-8 pizza's worth of dough at once, and more than enough to make pasta dough for our family of four. I can't wait to purchase some pasta making attachments and build my collection!

But Covid cooking and a sore arm from a hand mixer made me look again, where I found this smaller mixer. Lighter than the 5 quart, and fits on the counter just fine when it's time to bake. The bowl looks small, but I've made several batches of cookies and loaves of bread, and the size is just fine. The mixer is pretty basic, but that means less to break. This thing is all motor. Would definitely recommend for the occasional baker. Easy to use, easy to store, and just the right size.

I have used the larger Artisan mixer before and actually found the Mini much easier to maneuver and clean because it's smaller. From a capacity point of view, it's been plenty for the dough and cake recipes I've made, so I haven't felt like I needed the bigger mixer. When this went on sale for 199 there’s no way I could pass up purchasing 2! I bought one for myself and one for a friend and we both absolutely love it! It says that it can make up to five dozen cookies in one batch, but I don’t see how that’s possible, but maybe I made a double batch of cookies and I was worried that everything wouldn’t fit in the bowl. It’s absolutely perfect for me because I’m a casual baker, but if you bake a lot, definitely go with the bigger one.

I've had this for several weeks now. I bought it to supplement my 5 quart Pro, to use for smaller batch mixing and kneading. It's been great, it has no problem kneading batches of pizza dough and mixing batter for cakes, cookies, etc. It came with the Flex Edge beater but I also bought the standard flat beater, which I recommend. Both have performed very well. I bought mine in Candy Apple Red, I absolutely love the color. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I shopped around for months reading all the reviews for all the stand mixers. This was my dream mixer but I couldn’t justify the price. I am so so happy I took everyone’s advice and purchased my very own Kitchenaid mixer.. so quiet and smooth to operate and cleaning it is a breeze. The biggest plus for me was that I could fit it in my kitchen cupboard. Money very well spent. We will be making cakes together well into my retirement.

I’ve used KitchenAid mixers in professional kitchens, so I know their quality. After dealing with a noisy, but quality, hand mixer for years, the quietness and control were a delight. My wife loves her new mixer. It’s a beautiful candy apple red finish. We have a full size KitchenAid mixer that we have had for several years trouble free, but we wanted to downsize to one that would fit under our cabinets. She loves that when you first turn it on, it starts slowly, then gradually builds up speed. This is wonderful if you’re mixing recipes with flour or such. I would definitely recommend this mixer

I've had the mega large Kitchen aid for close to 30 years and absolutely love it, however it's so big and heavy and doesn't fit on my kitchen counters, so it's a big production to get it out and up. I will still use it for large recipes, however the Mini Artisan is perfect for normal use, plus I have several attachments that I can now easily use. It's perfect! Best kitchen aid mixer for the price. Of course I bought this at an open box price. I was very skeptical because I was for sure it wouldnt work right or wouldnt work for long. Boy was I wrong. I have had this mixer for over a year now and it works just as great as the first day I bought it. The only thing I havent tried was making bread, but I am sure I wont have an issue with that.
