Installed the Honeywell 18" dishwasher and it ran perfectly 3-4 times. Then every wash popped the E4 error, indicating a leak. We tracked it down to the seam where the bottom of the steel tub meets the surround - it will be on the back corner of the dishwasher at the bottom of the black foam covering the rear of the tub. You might have to peel the black foam covering off, but if it's gotten wet already it will lift up easily. Our leak was due to the surrounding steel having a small dent in it right at this seam. We used waterproof caulk to fill the crack from outside and when we checked inside the tub, we could see a tiny bit of caulk coming through the gap. We let it dry and ran the dishwasher again with no E4 error. I read a lot of reviews of people having plumbers inspect the dishwasher, unable to find the leak, and my contractor said plumbers are going to check the obvious places and this seam is not an obvious leak location. So I hope this review will help somebody in the future save themselves from throwing out a great little dishwasher. The manufacturing process clearly needs some quality control, but otherwise I really like this washer. It's the right size, it has a dry cycle, it's sooo quiet. I would only recommend it with the caveat that you should just caulk the tub seams before installation and save yourself the headache.
