I'm still learning to use this oven. the more I use it and figure out how to actually work it the better I like it. the first thing I made in it was toast and I have to say my toast was way more evenly toasted then my toaster ever made my toast. tonight I did air fryer top round steaks and they turned out excellent. I had to kind of wing it because there aren't very clear instructions on how to do anything except for the preset items such as french fries snacks toast Etc. but I decided to get Brave and just start experimenting and my first experiment was two steaks and they turned out so great they were juicy they were flavorful and I managed to cook them to my liking and not overcook them like I always do on my grill. Plus this oven was up to 400° in no time and it cooked the steaks evenly and quite quickly. the steaks were about a half an inch thick and I believe they cooked for about 7 or 8 minutes and they came out perfectly medium rare. so that in itself makes it worth the price, in my opinion. the reason I gave it four stars is because the panel on the front does not light up and when you open the oven there's no light on the inside and it makes it difficult to see how your food is doing unless you take it completely out. I always have to use my flashlight on my phone to even see the panel even when my kitchen lights are on and I have lots of lighting in my kitchen. my shadow seems to always get in the way. if it had a light on the inside or the outside so things lit up and I could see the different selections of presets it would have had a 10 in my book. Just a little food for thought for the manufacturer.

I was looking for something more than a traditional basket style airfryer, and this fits what I was looking for. There are pros and cons. \n\n They recommend 4 inches clearance all around for air flow due to the heat it gives off. This means if you have a smaller kitchen you won't be able to put it on the counter. \n\nSo far the power it is pulling has tripped two different breakers. This should not be happening though. The first time, we had fries in the unit, and were heating gravy in the microwave at the same time for poutine, and the breaker tripped. Second time, used an outlet in the tv room, and the small freezer cycled and a breaker was tripped. We had to find a room with nothing plugged in and its own breaker. That is not easy in a small house.\n\nSo some cons as mentioned above: takes up more space than expected, uses more power than expected.\n\nOn the pro side, pizza comes out great, and as long as you don't overfill the basket fries come out decent.\n\nHave not had a chance to try cooking a proper meal with it yet, that is next on my list!\n\nSo far, I am not horribly disappointed, just not overly impressed. But I got it on sale so, you get what you paid for. I'll know soon if it was really worth the money. But Walmart wants a review within days of delivery so it's hard to give a proper review when you have not had a chance to really see what it can do. Maybe ask for a review after 30 days instead of after 3 days?

Love the variety of settings, it is extremely flexable in your cooking choices and temprature variations. The air fry function is great. The con is it is a 1/2 to narrow in width for a standard 9x13 pan if it has the typical 3/4 handles on the end which limits your cookware choices. The fact is though it is the perfect size for retirees that only need to cook for two as I pare down family size recipes for my wife and I so that when making a baked dish like lasagna or enchiladas or something similar we don't have leftovers that constitues eating the same leftovers for a week. It also works great for fixing multiple dishes in smaller form at the same time, like lasagna for 2 with a small meatloaf or enchiladas, small roast or even a whole chicken when meal planning for the week. In the 3 weeks I have made lasagna, enchiladas, pulled pork, roast chicken, jalapeno corn bread, roast turkey breast, and roasted root vegetables. squash cassarole, baked sweet potatoes, and a butt portion half ham. Many of these were cooked in combination with the protein and side dishes combined in the oven to save time and not crank up the large oven. I also see it being a asset in the preperation of larger meals for family and friends for gatherings or celebrations.

I have a few Gourmia products including an air fryer. The air fryer just died…nothing. \nShopped for a new fryer and went with a Sur la Table model with AI. (Crap!) the AI was supposed to identify the product, and select the right program….I put in a sweet potato, and it called it a salmon! I went to the Sur la Table site, the product wasn’t even listed!!!\nI selected this Gourmia French door model. Walmart had it listed twice for two different prices….naturally I chose the cheaper one. It’s been a charm. Intuitively easy to use, heats up fast, does the job perfectly. I’ve air fried, baked, and dehydrated multiple times this week, and NO PROBLEMS. The hot air didn’t leak (as other reviews stated). It’s a perfect size for the counter, and easily handles food for 3 or 4 people, probably more.\nIf it lasts a year or two, I will be totally satisfied!

Got this oven for my 92 year old mother. She is not tech saavy at all and I was worried that she might not be able to use a new oven. She was very familiar with the old toaster oven that she'd had for over a decade. One brief lesson on how to use this oven and she was using this oven as if she'd had it for years. It's very easy to operate and it functions very well as a toaster and a small oven, it is rather large for a toaster oven which is great. My mom uses it exclusively now instead of her built in oven. Mom does not use the air fryer mode, she also never uses the stand alone air fryer I bought her years ago, air frying intimidates her for some reason. She is southern and prefers to fry her food in oil, at almost 93 I'm not going to argue with her over health benefits of air frying vs Crisco. This oven has a very attractive design. The top and sides do get very hot, but so did my moms previous oven. You can't have anything touching the sides, top or back so you need to consider that when measuring for space to accommodate this oven. I'm going to order one for myself and give my almost new toastet oven and air fryer to my sister, because after using this oven I want one myself.

I purchased this oven to temporarily use while my oven is out and waiting to replace it. I love it! The size of it is super convenient, it fits all my square pans and a couple of my rectangular pans and the double doors make it easier to remove pans from the oven. I love that it has a preheat and a bell to remind you it's at the temperature you set and it's time to put the food in. The air fryer option is awesome and works well \nIt heats somewhat unevenly, more heat at the back so you need to rotate halfway through your cooking time, this might be because the doors have a gap so there is probably less heat towards the front of the oven. \nMy only issue is there is no light inside. My previous air fryer/oven had a light and it was a convenient feature.

My oven is not working, and my air fryer broke all of a sudden. I also wanted to replace my toaster oven, though it was working fine. So I gave this one a try. There will be a learning curve as to the temperature and cook time determination because this one heats up fairly quickly and can burn your food from 0 to 100. Also, the motor sometimes makes a loud noise, which concerns me. I feel like it won't last for too long, though I can't speak of durability as I have been using it only for 4 months. \nBut for the price, it is versatile and convenient. It's spacious and you can fit a 12" pizza, but not a whole turkey or ham. I like that you can see the food without opening, unlike the basket type.

Tray or rack does not come forward when opening oven doors so you need to pull the rack out manually with an oven glove since they dont include a tray/basket pull tool.\n\nAlso the oven doors do not seal closed which leaks a fair amount of heat as can be felt by holding hand a few inches from the gaps.\n\nIt doesn't seem to have a steam function or any meat thermometer and no rotisserie functions, the tray does not project out when doors are opened and theres no basket/tray puller tool.\n\nOther than that it cooks food well and crispy, just doesnt seem to be any different than my Oster Toaster Oven....the term "Air Fryer" probably is just the new marketing spin on good old toaster ovens.

Pro: size, function selections, wattage (1700), side opening doors are great, sturdy trays/rack (most other brands are flimsy and was another reason for purchase.) Even cooking if turned as recommended, 4 shelf positions. Con: loud beep when turned on /temp/time selections and can't turn it off. No way to disengage the Pre-heat - broiling does not need preheating which engages top/bottom elements when only top element should be on for broil. Overall: SATISFIED. Using air fryer has proven to be impossible to clean and can't clean tray from baked on oils using everything except metal scrubber. Usage as of date: 8 times

This is my second Gourmia air fryer. The first I’ve used for a couple years. It still works fine, but it has become so filled with spatter and oil smoke inside I bought a new one. (Lazy? I’m, guilty!) \nThis new one has a new control panel with some nice one touch buttons. I cook pizzas often and the preset is perfect! This time I installed the crumb tray. (I thought it was a baking sheet before - oops!) \nThe presets are a nice improvement. I cook fish and pork loin as well as cookies occasionally. I might try baking some flatbreads, too. \nI bought the warranty just in case, but if this new one holds up as well as the old one, I won’t need the warranty - but one never knows. \nI like the double French doors and you can open them simply by pulling on either door handle because they’re linked. The internal light lets you watch cooking progress. \nIt seems this newt one preheat faster than the old one, too.

This countertop oven is great for holidays. It frees up oven space when different dishes cook at different temperatures and times. I can't get over how large this is and how much I can prepare at once. I've baked in it, heated up side dishes and we have air fried popcorn chicken for our homemade mashed potato bowls. The chicken was moist yet crisp and not greasy! I can't wait to try a few recipes out of the recipe book. Next up we are going to try to dehydrate some citrus for Christmas decorations and try the popcorn feature as no other air fryer I have ever owned could pop popcorn. I also love that it is easy to wipe down and the trays all can go in the dishwasher. The only thing I will mention is it does seem to get quite hot to the touch, contrary to my previous air fryer that didn't get that hot on the sides. This will definitely be a kitchen tool we use often for family nights, parties and more.

My toaster oven died and though the small air fryer my husband brought home from work (when our large one died after six months) was still going strong at 2 years, our family of 5 needed something larger and I wanted it to take up less counter space. So bye-bye to the old toaster oven and air fryer and hello to this Gorgeous Gourmia! It was a little confusing to me at first to operate, but maybe that was just me. (I had very simple appliances before.) But once I read the instruction sheets (2 I think) that came with it, I got the hang of it. It performs beautifully. I’ve reheated, cooked frozen chicken nuggets, pizza from scratch, fries (of course). You can fit a whole bag of oreida fries in the basket. And it toasts like a toaster. (My mom’s air fryer toast setting makes bread into hard crouton-ish slices). Not this one. Wonderful cinnamon toast. Have had it about 3 months. Hope it lasts forever. 😀

I like it for the easy things I use it for, it I haven’t tried breads, or cakes. There is a gap between the doors when they are closed and I don’t know if it will affect the cooking of breads or cakes. Pizzas cooks really well and warming up foods works good. I’m enjoying it so far. Yes, I would recommend it on the items I’ve tried but I would also let them know I haven’t tried all of the listed things it says it does like Rotisserie, roasts, there are so many things left for me to try, I can’t wait to continue my check off list. I love the doors!\nI was worried about how hot it would get, but honestly, it barely heats up on the outside. It's quite versatile, so I was able to get rid of 3 other items on my kitchen counter and use my oven less. The presets are pretty accurate and easy to increase or decrease time or temp. It looks really nice, too.\n\nOn the downside, the doors don't meet and seal, so some heat escapes. The doors and outer surfaces get hot, so keep an oven mitt nearby. And the directions have some contradictory information, so you have to figure some stuff out. But it's definitely worth getting, and it's easy to use.

love this little machine. easy to use, great value for the money, however the only complaint i have is the baking tray and bottom drip tray do not get clean very easy. they stay stained no matter how hard you try to clean them. use aluminum foil on both to limit the stains. also, if you get anything on the heating elements, they are very hard to get clean. besides those minor issues, this is an awesome machine. buy it, and buy a roll of aluminum foil, and you will use this a lot.

I purchased this item at the black friday price, and I must say it's a great product. Even if I purchased it at the regular price I would still feel the same. It's a perfect size- fits nicely on my countertop along with my coffee maker, toaster, and blender. It has 17 one-touch cooking functions. The airfryer/toaster oven comes with 4 different"trays"- Oven rack, baking pan, fry basket, and a crumb tray. FYI- the fry basket isn't really a basket, it's more in the form of a pan, but still amazing. I used it for fish fillets, and they came out perfectly. They make the claim that a 12 inch pizza can be cooked inside, so I took them up on it, and it came out so delicious! The French doors are unique, and a nice touch. Absolutely worth the money. Good size, fast heating, cooking features are good but, the reason I am not recommending is that there is a serious lack of a safety feature - heating does not stop if you open the door. Also draws a lot of power and trips my circuit breaker ( on same circuit as my fridge and ceiling lights). I will research and see if this is the case with other ovens also.

I went to order it on Monday morning, and the price had gone up $30. overnight! Quality: Seems to be good after only 3 days. Still figuring out how to operate it.

I'm still learning how to adjust the temperature to get the right amount of toasting on bread slices, but this unit is a pleasure to use! I know that in time I'll get the right amount of browning on my breads. It's so easy to u se this air oven/toaster! Frozen fries are the best when they're air-fried in this air fryer.

convenient easy to use easy to clean and fast for cooking simple meals, my fav is bacon and baking cookies, just remember to grease the pan b4 so nothing sticks, then clean up is easy, i live making pizza now i can just pop it in and done, my kids use it to make their hot pockets and nuggets and fries when im late. just show them and make sure they know what they are doing b4 you let them use it, trust and maturity needs to be a factor for kids 13 and up to use, my 10 year old is very mature and knows how to use it easily, he make.pizza wanted for it to cool and put it on his plate so i recommend it just don't forget the remote lole i did and throw the bix away 😂

My likes are the size, the appearance and the way it cooks. My dislike is the fact that it has a very low ding when it's done cooking and it was hard to figure out how you even turn that option on. not a fan of the cooking settings either but not a determination on whether I would buy it or not again

I love this air fryer/toaster oven. I purchased one for my vacation home and turned around and purchased another for my home. I haven't used the stove since I got this. I cook my pizza, fish in it and I air fry my grandkids snacks in it. Best money great value and saves me money from using my stove. I have recommended to my friends and even strangers that I see looking at types of these toaster style ovens. And they have purchased and agree it is awesome. Its great to reheat items. I find it cooks hotter so if they temperature says 400 I would do 385, and the food seems to cook faster. Easy to use, and you can set your own temperature and cooking time.

So far I've used the slow cook, bake, broil, rotisserie, reheat, and air fry settings since I received my oven last week. The large basket lets me make my whole meal at once. I love the green in my kitchen too! It's a nice looking appliance. I actually wish I bought this sooner, because I got rid a few appliances that this is replacing like my crockpot, toaster, and microwave opens up my counters. My kitchen opens up into my living room, and that counter is cleared and open now. I'm very happy with this 12 in 1, as well as my Gourmia coffee pot that I bought last month. I love that the appliances are all easy to use, so my bf can use it by himself too lol

This oven was delivered yesterday and today I made a pork roast for Easter in it. I read a comment that this oven was loud. I barely heard mine and had to open the doors to make sure it had heated up. It preheated fast and did a terrific job on my pork roast. It was delicious. I was a little disappointed that there isn't a light inside the oven, but my kitchen light is almost over top of the oven so I did not have a problem seeing the food while it cooked. I did purchase a roll of oven liner to put on the bottom of the oven to help keep it cleaner while cooking food that spatters. This oven will hold larger cooking pan/trays which is why I wanted it

I particularly like the ease of use. Turn it on, select a food type, fine tune the time and temp per the product cooking instructions or for serving size and hit the on button. When the pre-heat is complete pop it in and off you go. I have found the programmed settings tend to cook things "well done" or are for large serving sizes so if cooking for 1 check the dish the first time you cook it. You can always pause the cooking, add or subtract time using the up-down arrows and return to cooking. I also like the side door more than I thought I would. They retract out of the way better than I expected and stay retracted until you close them.

This Gourmia oven/air fryer works well for preparing small meals. The price was reasonable. Be careful opening the hot doors as you can easily be burned if any part of the doors touch your skin. I have burned myself even when being careful. Overall, it is meeting our needs.
