Since my daughter got this camera, she's practically never put it down and has already taken countless photos. As a child's first camera, it's truly excellent for developing basic photography and composition skills. While it may not be the cheapest way to learn photography, it's incredibly engaging for a child because they can immediately hold a photo, even a small one, in their hands, rather than just a snapshot on a phone or camera screen.

My daughter had an older version and it took better pictures. Any pictures taken more than 2 feet from your face (or the subject of your photo) are hazy or blurry. If you are outside in sunlight it's even worse. Super disappointed. We were excited to use this at Disneyland for character photos of all of our kids and nieces and nephews. The photos aren't good enough to put in their signature books. Considering returning it and putting the $100 towards a simple digital camera or portable photo printer instead.

My fiancee and I bought this camera for our guests to snap photos at our wedding for a photo guestbook. The camera itself feels cheap, the photos are washed out, but the nostalgia makes it all worth it. First off, the Instax has a front mounted shutter button and the vertical format is awkward. But as a result you get instant mini photos that exude nostalgia.\n\nThe price point for the camera is reasonable but the instant film is pricey. Not for high volume shooters, but it's certainly fun to shoot with!

My Fuji 8 stopped working so I got the 12 version. Looks a little bigger but not bad. I think I'm going to like this new one! !! It's easy to use, looks cute in “blossom pink.” I really appreciated the early delivery!!! Came just in time for the party I wanted it for. I'll have to see if this one will last longer than the first one I got. Walmart definitely had the best price. Better than Amazon.

The fujifilm instamax mini photos are a family favorite! We love using them fir partied, travelling and at holidays! The different film colors was great for my daughter's recent "eras" birthday party.\nThe camera itself is easy to use and the film is easy to reload. Film is a great stocking stuffer or great in easter basket once the camera has been purchased!

I find this film to be inexpensive compared to larger Polaroid film. I love having an instant photo. The picture quality is good and older looker all at the same time. Definitely a fun item to have around the house to quickly capture a special moment or an ordinary one you simply don't want to forget!

Gift for my daughter's birthday. Bought it by a recommendation of her daughter. She loves it but is still getting used to it so all of her pictures aren't perfect but she uses the carry case and takes it almost everywhere with her. I and she recommend it.
