My main concern was to get a durable set. This set does not have metallic backbone, but it has a solid and beautiful build. The texture is very satisfying. I am glad the speakers do not fold in because that feature is fails in every other headphone set unless is very sturdy and made out of metal. It takes a bit of work to set them up. The do not connect like any other set of headphones I have owned in that it requires an application to connect. The sound is great once you finish connecting them. The only big problems is that the application does not create a user (Sony account). Once the password is entered the continue button does not activate. I tried doing it online and such service does not exist. Finlay, I noticed that the password page has a share icon on the upper right corner and I shared the page to Chrome and was able to enter the password, but I had to my details to enter them again. Yes, setting up is a bit of a headache. It is possible to connect to two devices so that is a big plus. I will not answer the recommendation because this headphones are for people that are technology savvy. So I would not recommend to some one that is not, but I would recommend for some that is.

I got these headphones 2 days ago and they are incredibly good. I like how these headphones connect to my phone and PC at the same time so that after a call, its goes back to playing my music. The Sony Headphones Connect is a must have if you care about fine tuning your audio, connecting to 2 devices, and 360 reality audio. The 50 hour battery life is good if you play your music non-stop. The only think I don't like about this product is after 30 minutes of use, it starts to hurt my ears. I would recomend this product for anyone who is new to buy wireless headphones from Sony

Great sound and noise cancelling. Ideal for long trips when you don't want to be disturbed. Simple controls and pairs via Bluetooth very well. I would not recommend wearing them for normal street walking because the noise cancelling is so good. You could be surprised or even miss an alert. They were slightly tight on my head, but I adjusted quickly. Charge lasts a long time. Used them for 2-11 hour flights and did not have to recharge.

I was gifted this for Christmas. The sound is excellent, the battery life is excellent. However, the power/pairing button is not raised sufficiently so it is difficult to find when wearing the headphones. Other than that it is a great bit of kit for the money.

Irritatingly, there are NO INSTRUCTIONS that come with these, to enable you to set them up with a device. Trial and error eventually got it attuned to my laptop and TV.\n Sound quality is subjective and surely depends on a person's hearing. To me, the base level is overpowering on some music I listen to and vocals are lost in the music particularly where the singer has a more mellow tone to there voice. I will admit to being 66, and have tinnitus, so that may defract soundwaves somewhat. \n I also discovered by trial and error, you have to hold the on/off button down for about 5 seconds to perform either function. On the plus side, I can move about the room and my other half cannot hear what I'm listening to; she has different tastes in music to me.
