Solid, easy to grip handle.\n\nI have been a long time Caphalon fan after receiving their chicken fryer back in 2014. Although their cookware is a bit of an investment (at least for me) it is so worth it: That same pan has been my go-to kitchen workhorse for the last 10 years and (with consistent proper care) looks and cooks as good as day 1. As do the sauce pan, 4 qt, steamer, etc. I have added in the years since. That said I am SO EXCITED to finally get my hands on the new Caphalon Premier Nonstick Ceramic 2pc Skillet Set. Somehow I was selected by Influenster/Caphalon to receive a free set for review (amazing as they have no clue about my current collection).\n\nRoasted Veggies: Perfectly browned and crisp; no mush spots here.\n\nFlank Steak: Even browning with crisp bits and a spot-on even pink layer straight across.\n\nPancakes: Three batches done before the syrup was cold.\n\nThen the true test.....\nShrimp Parmesan: Step 1: Deep fry the breaded shrimp Step 2: Broil the now golden shrimp in marinata sauce and an excessive amount of cheese. Step 3: Appreciate the Parmesan heaven created by Caphalon's Premier Ceramic pan. The shrimp were juicy and plump yet coated in the crunchiest breadcrumbs and the cheese was a sea of molten happiness. Serving was so much easier with this pan as the nonstick ceramic allowed me to just slide the entire dish right out of the pan onto a serving dish...like silk. Their nonstick magic had me looking like a pro. Yet throught the entire process the pan and handle were never excessively hot, nor does the pan now show any sign of wear even after all that boiling and broiling (not to mention the abuse from my experiments earlier in the week)\nPulling it from the dishwasher today the Nonstick Premier Ceramic pan still looks brand new. As I have come to learn this is par for the course with Caphalon's cookwear, and trust will be even better with this latest Premier Ceramic line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This newer version is impressive. Non-stick properties have not let me down. I like the more upright sides because it keeps the contents inside the pan better, especially when stirring. Washes up easily as well. This pan has not disappointed at all. I store them by placing a potholder in-between each pan to avoid any potential damage. Also keeps down on the noise of getting pans out of the cabinet, which my husband appreciates. \n\nI did have an issue with the first one where the Teflon came off in a small circle, smaller than a pencil eraser. I contacted Calphalon and was told to discard the pan and a replacement was delivered just a few days later. Great warranty and customer service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Calphalon frying pans are elite. I love that they come in a set of two different sizes to accommodate whatever you may be cooking. Everything that I have cooked in them has cooked evenly and quickly, I couldn't be more impressed! The best part is how easy they are to clean, you barely need soap and water, you can wipe these down with a paper towel once they are cooled and they are good as new. I also love that they are dishwasher safe if you need to go that route. I use them with silicone or plastic utensils, to prevent scratching and increase the longevity of their use. Also, I love the color options. I got the shade mushroom, and it's a beautiful neutral tone. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ohh this is thrabsolutebest thing ever! I'm teaching my 14,11,10 and 9 yr old life skills this summer and that brings us to the kitchen. We have had a ton of accidents and burned food and this pan is 100% the best! It's really made teaching them easier. \r\nThough I will say my 10 yr old son had been cooking for 2 yrs and loves it and he says thr only flaw of this pan is its TOO non stick jajaja. Because when he tries to flip eggs without breaking them they just slide everywhere and it's hard to flip. \r\nBut I'll take that over stuck food any day! it's easy to use and easy to clean! We love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used several pans that claim to have been nonstick over the years, however the pans do tend to stick a little. My test for a pan is to fry an egg. I first added a little oil to the pan out of habit to prevent any sticking, and was surprised at how even the oil would slide around in the pan as shown in the first picture. I then fried an egg alone without any oil and did not stick at all. It fried my egg perfectly both times. Aside from being nonstick, it heats up quickly and is very sturdy. I am very impressed with the quality and will purchase other products from this line!

I had to order another one of these pans after getting the 12-inch version. After years of being disappointed with other nonstick pans that don't stay nonstick, it's such a relief to have finally found one that I won't have to throw away in a few months. There are plenty of beautiful ceramic pans that seem like they'd have great lasting nonstick, but in my experience, that always wears out in no time. The surface of these pans isn't slick - it's bumpy, and that's why it works and lasts so well. I also love the high sides on these pans, which makes them good for all sorts of things, not just frying.

I like all my food well-done and crispy. Most people don’t get how I like my scrambled eggs crispy, but it’s how I love them. The pan not only cooked my eggs well done completely perfectly, there was absolutely no clean up!! It’s amazing!! Normally I am scrubbing and soaking the pan when I am done. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Calphalon fry pan. I have been using it regularly to make breakfast and lunch for my kids and this has been really amazing. It is not too heavy and pretty easy to work with. I clean it with a normal kitchen scrubber and liquid soap and it has been scratch free till now. The best thing is I have cooked eggs and bread on this and they have cooked evenly and the food doesn't stick to the pan. For a quick breakfast and lunch for 1-2 people this pan is the perfect size. It looks great too and the pan is perfectly thick too.

The Calphalon Premier collection is the best I have ever purchased whether on the high or lower end of cookware. They are solid, flat on the bottom and on the heavy side which is good. I have the glass cook top stove and these skillets stay put. I replaced the Simply Calphalon skillets with lids that I had for years with the Premier skillets. The Simply Calphalon lids fit the Premier skillets. The Premier collection is much better. Food cooks more evenly, does not stick and easy clean up. Worth every penny and delivery was quick.

They are heavy, yet are engineered in a way that feels really easy to handle. The heat distribution is great, it cooked all my meals evenly and fast. We have been Calphalon cookware product users for years. In caring for your skillets, pots, etc.,\r\nAllow your cookware to cool down to room temperature (set on a hot pad) immediately after use. Don't take the product from the stove-top and expose it to a sudden and dramatic temperature change (drop) by running it under water or submering it into dishwater. This traumatizes tthe base metal composition of the product to where the hard-anodized nonstick surface starts to chip off and/or chunks of the base metal break off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is awesome if you're cooking food that sticks easily (eggs). We cook eggs everyday and they flip / slide right off with this pan. We use a bit of olive oil and don't let it get too hot. The size of this pan is also great to cook multiple eggs at a time. I also ONLY use rubber spatulas with this - and don't let any hard utensils get near it (including in the sink). Not sure how this will endure in the long run but so far so good!

This has truly been a nonstick surface. I have cooked everything with the pots and I love them. I want to get more of the pots because of how amazing they are. An egg cooked flawlessly and did not stick to the surface. The color of the pots too is gorgeous. I love the difference of the color. It definitely stands out.

The 8" is perfect for cooking our morning eggs. Just a little bit of olive oil in the skillet and the eggs turn out perfect! No need to add a bunch of calories by using a lot of oil to cook. Clean up is also easy with these skillets. They are dishwasher safe. Definitely recommend these skillets to all my friends!

Dishwasher safe, but because it rinses so well in hot water, it could quickly and easily just be washed with soap and water faster than it takes to find a spot in your dishwasher. Even heat distribution from what I could tell, did not overcook or burn with residue.

They are so nonstick that the first time I used them to fry an egg and I went to put it on the plate slid so fast that it fell on the floor as long as you just rinse it and wash it with a little dish washing liquid they will maintain, their nonstick. They’re very slick and with a simple design with the long handle that does not get hot. I recommend these pans.

i bought these pans over a month ago and have been quite pleased with their performance for even heating and non-stick properties. i was sick and tired of buying other pans that only lasted a short time before they lost their non-stick properties.so far, these have done very well and eggs still slide off and can be flipped without a spatula without ripping and tearing. we will see how they do over the next 6 months.

It is great that I didn't have to butter or oil it up a lot to make my foods. I loved that my foods didn't stick to the pan. I have a glass electric stove, so the flat smooth bottom of these pans was perfect for evenly cooking food. The sides of these pans are fairly low, so not ideal for large amounts of food, but perfect for smaller servings or eggs, quesadillas, etc.

We recently purchased these pans to replace some traditional non-stick pans. And my wife kept them boxed up for Christmas because, you know, we needed something to gift one another. Anyways, I opened them with glee and joy Christmas morning, washing them up right away to fix breakfast. I really like how these cook evenly, and they look great.
