This dongle works very well on my Victron 12/1200 inverter where I used it to modify the ECO mode to further reduce power usage. It also works well on other Victron products. The delivery was very fast, coming in several days early. I have stated that the product is not a good value because I think this product, like dongles from Renogy, are all overpriced considering what you get. But it is not out of line with Renogy prices for their dongles which are also too high. It provides more information with the lights than the Renogy BT-1. I've been spoiled by using the Victron software and products which are very good. I held off buying the Bluetooth unit for Victron solar charge controllers at first as it seems quite a high price for a small ( 200W) setup. I'm glad I finally gave in. With the unit mounted at dashboard level I can read the charge/load states and make adjustments all from my house. It has to reconnect every time I leave the screen but it's quick and automatic. Both the Bluetooth unit and charge controller automatically updated software the first time I used them so make sure you have updated the app and have good phone battery. Maybe took 10mins but did freeze on 93% (rebooted phone and it had actually successfully completed the update). In my eyes there is no point having a good charge controller without either this Bluetooth unit or the other wall mount display. (Cable to laptop is ...
