[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Guys, do you know just as I do that shaving to be a chore, something that's got to be done daily for some every other day for others and even weekly for the lucky ones. Unfortunately, I fall under the every other day so I was the Phillips wet and dry razor. I have to say I was really impressed by it, first and foremost I love the fact that this rechargeable, wet and dry razor last, for at least an hour or longer while shaving. I can shave my face either dry or wet in the shower, which is kind of nice. The blades are smooth against my skin, and I do notice quite a close shave while using it. The pop-up trimmer on this razor is kind of nice too because I do have facial hair that I like to trim around and it leaves a nice clean line. This razor does not have a ergonomic handle like my old less expensive Norelco. Although it does a good job shaving it is difficult to use on curved surfaces such as under the chin, as the head is a little large and does not conform easily if used under lite pressure as directed. The blue tooth connection to smart phones is an advantage, but one that I would rarely, if ever use. If that is what causes the high expense for this razor, it would be better to leave it out. Although I am getter a better shave with this razor I do not enjoy using it as much as I did my old one with its smaller head and comfortable handle.

This shaver has been a solid upgrade overall. It's comfortable to hold, the battery lasts a long time, and it's easy to clean. \n\nOnce you get used to the circular shaving motion, it provides a close, comfortable shave with very little irritation. \n\nMy only reason for giving it four stars instead of five is that it can take a few extra passes on the neck and other difficult areas compared to a traditional razor. \n\nEven so, the convenience, quiet operation, and cordless design make it well worth owning. \n\nI'd recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable electric shaver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me more than a month to start getting close shaves, mostly because I followed the instructions on the app. It kept telling me to make smaller circles until I was hardly moving the razor. I finally figured out that the app really wanted me to slow down. Also, I didn't read the manual closely about cleaning the shaving heads and wasn't careful to clean and replace them one at a time. Overall the shaver works but Philips built in a lot of challenges to make it work well.

But did not cut like a blade . Blades got better and came in batches of 3 or blades to shaver blade. I guess electrics had to keep up. The norelco I recently bought seems to be doing a fine job of shaving ! I will continue with this norelco unless the tide changes back to something new for this market . So far so good though

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good razor it cuts pretty close but it does have some flaws it does not shave as close as my 5 blade razor but this is much better than the older models it's a good razor not a great razor I rub my face raw trying to get it to cut the hair maybe it's because I'm older I'm 57 years old but my shave cream and 5 blades does it faster than this razor does thank you .............Richard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using manual razors forever and decided to get an electric razor for a change. \r\n\r\nThe Philips Norelco Shaver 7600 is a very nice device. Not only does it have a classy look but it also gives a smooth shave and is very gentle on the skin. \r\n\r\nI was quite impressed how close the shaving was. I get a great shave with the Norelco and it might not be as sharp as a manual blade but it is quite close. I tried both the dry and wet shave but having a very sensitive skin, I tend to prefer the wet shave even if it takes a bit longer. \r\n\r\nWhen it comes to the battery life, I was really impressed as it provides 60 minutes of running time on a full charge. My favorite feature though is the five minutes quick charge which allows me to get a shave without having to wait for the battery to fully charge. \r\n\r\nWith all that being said, I am very pleased with my new Norelco shaver which gets a perfect 5 stars rating from me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not the best Norelco shaver I've ever had. My last Norelco, (don't remember the model number), was a better head design. This head design makes it more difficult to shave along a line. I have a beard, but trim above and below my beard line. I didn't put the app on my phone. I've been shaving for over 50 years, and I don't need advice from a software program.

The heads did a great job shaving even with a 5 day growth of beard. Still getting use to the interaction with the app Groom from Phillips Norelco. \nAlso, I don't like the fact that a charger/charging base is not included and that is why I gave a 3 star rating. I have plenty of unused adapters around to use to charge, but having a base to place the razor to charge is so much more convenient.

The shaver head is big & covers big areas of skin, but shaving small areas requires titling shaver as in areas below nose & front of ears. The shaver can connect to app by bluetooth but the app is of limited value. Cleaning the shaver is fast & easy.

It's been the same for years. It's so easy to break off one of the knobs that hold it in place and I can already see that it won't be long until this one breaks too! Comeon guys, fix this issue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Norelco Shaver 7600 is the cream of the crop as far as electric razors go! You can use this wet or dry. You can even use it in the shower! The 3 razor head contours to your face giving you the smoothest finish. It comes with a carrying case which was a nice addition! There is a pamphlet on an app download that helps you personalize and perfect your shave. It tells you if you shave too long (leading to increased irritation), the motion of your hand while shaving (you want a circular motion), and tips on how to get the best shave. The charge lasted at least a week or two without any deviation in shave quality. The best feature is the quick clean pod. It takes only 1 minute to clean and lubricate the shaver saving time and increasing life of the shaver head. Overall, this is the best shaver I've used over the past 20 years. I would highly recommend it!

The material around the shaver assemblies makes it a little more difficult to get close to obstructions, such as a nose. Otherwise, battery and motor are powerful enough. Heads are sharp enough.

The "learning" part comes to mind first in that category. Also, the handle is a bit thin, but I have large hands so for a guy with smaller hands it will likely not be an issue.

The only place I have trouble is sometimes it is hard in the neck are with having to go over it several times however this could be the shape of your skin. Overall is good shaver and would say go for it and buy it.

It struggles with that spot right under my nose, and it doesn't get razor close but otherwise I was happy. But then I tried this and there is NO going back. I shaved and it felt like I had used a razor. Not only that, it glided smoother than my older model. The pivoting heads perform excellent and contour easily. The cleaning function was great too. That is a new one for me and I LOVE it. Shaver smells great and is clean after each clean. There is an app that pairs with the razor to give you some tips and stuff which is cool but probably not something I will use but you may. Overall this shaver was excellent and I would recommend to anyone in the market. This mode specifically was outstanding!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charges fast and long battery life. Cuts close, but I HATE the pentagon shaped heads. You can trim close to your nose, ears, etc. It looks nice but the area containing the heads should be ROUND so you can trim closer !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third Philips shaver, my previous served me well. The shave is close and smooth, and it seems to be a bit faster than my previous shavers. The SenseIQ indicator works and could be the reason my shaving times are a little quicker, the required circular motion contributes to a close, smooth shave. Battery life is excellent, and I don't bother taking a charger or the cable with me when I travel! Cleaning the shaver is easy, just press a button and the head flips open for a quick rinse under running water. I bought the basic version without the cleaning pod. The popup trimmer is nice, I have had shavers with detachable and popup trimmers, the popup trimmer is much more convenient and was one of the reasons I bought this shaver.

I love how well it shaves, has an indicator that tells you if your shaving technique is good or poor and the intelligent hair sensor and pivoting flex head? And what a nice close comfortable shave. I use electric pre shave lotion or electric shave. All together a very sweet shaver and I Actually prefer to manually clean my shaver with rubbing alcohol. Wet and dry shave? It gives you a choice as well. I would recommend to use some lubricant on the blades one little drop once a week. Stainless steel doesn't usually rust but it can actually form minor surface rust over time because of constant moisture. I had an Olympic style barbell and it's pure stainless steel. And it actually formed some minor rust on the outside. And it's not a stain. Other wise very sweet shaver would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how the self sharpening works, but it is a nice feature!! I do wish that Norelco would angle the shaver head a little more downward. When i was using the 5000 series, the way it was angled is about where the 7000 series should be. Also, i would love for Norelco to make a pre-electric shave lotion/liquid "Roll-On" bottle. The "Roll-On" botte would allow you to put it directly on your face, gently...squeeze the bottle to make the contents hit your face then the light yet hard you squeeze, and "Roll" the bottle all over your face it would apply the lotion vs having to put the lotion in your hands and splash it to or on your face. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has to be the best shaver I have ever owned. I upgraded from an older Philips shaver I probably owned for nine years. I can literally shave my face in like three minutes and it is smooth unlike my older shaver I had to constantly go over and over spots. I like that it connects to an app and tells me how accurate my shave was. I believe I started at 42% now up too 84%. The shaver is very easy to clean and the app let's me know how many shaves I have left also what percent the blades are at. I don't know if there is a charging stand for this model because I didn't have one in the box and was wondering if it is sold separately.
