Problem is the solid basket not the mesh basket. One of my family members was dumping the pod and I just dumped a whole little solid black basket now I don't have anything with the mesh basket to make a single cup from fresh ground coffee not from the pods. It really ticks me off, cause I'm walking around in Walmart where I purchased it from online looking for a universal basket that would fit it. So for that reason, though, I probably wouldn't recommend it.

For the most part, it's easy to use, but I'm still adjusting to make the right flavor of coffee. What I like is the option to brew smaller servings too. Sometimes, I'll only have one cup. I only wish there was a bold brew option to increase the flavor. Overall, I can see this lasting a few years.

good coffee pot but the cord is too small.. They should make the coffee machines cords much larger cause not all outlets for the plug are near a convenient location thank you and this is the second time I requested this make the cords extension plug LONGER!

The Coffeemaker is just the right size to make coffee at Church. We usually have a small group during Sunday School. I'm thinking about getting a Larger Coffeemaker when we have larger groups.

I would have liked it to have an option of setting a timer to self-brew, but it unfortunately does not have that capability. \r\nThe coffee maker brews relatively quick, and the burner keeps the coffee warm for a short period of time. I liked that it came with a scoop so that measurement of the coffee grounds is simple. \r\nThe design of the coffee maker is nice, and it takes up very little space on the counter. I like that the water compartment is large enough to clean easily, but I wish the filter basket was removable for cleaning also.\r\nOverall, this product is a good addition for anyone looking for a simple, easy to use coffee maker.

I am the only one in the house that drinks coffee, so that's good. I also like that it makes the coffee rather quickly. As far as the things I dislike, how difficult it is to get the coffee pot on and off of the stand is a bit frustrating. If the pot were full, it would most likely spill some on the process of taking the pot off. I also don't like that the filter tray is not removable. I like to take the entire tray out to empty the old filter and I can't do that with this one. \r\n\r\nThis is definitely not the worst coffee maker, but it also isn't the best.

Before this, we had a single serve Keurig that took forever to heat up and actually brew the coffee - plus it was so loud. I absolutely love that with the Toastmaster Coffee Maker, I can make more than one cup (up to 12!) and set it all up the night before! The programmable feature is by far my favorite feature of this coffee maker! I work from home and my husband leaves for work early (6:30ish). It's so nice that I can set the coffee maker to brew in time for him to take a cup with him & the keep warm feature keeps it nice and hot (up to 2 hours!) for when I wake up later in the morning! All in all - I'm obsessed with this coffee maker!! ☕️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am what some would call a heavy coffee drinker, as I need it to function with daily life, haha! This coffee maker works fine and instructions are easy to understand. There is virtually no set up either. With that said, it is just your very basic coffee maker. There is not a lot to it. I did notice that a piece that hangs down to drip folded my filter over, this is not necessarily a deal breaker to me though. Also, it seems as though I have to force the pot into place sometimes, which is rather annoying, but again, not a deal breaker, just mildly annoying when I'm half asleep and trying to make coffee as quickly as possible.

I finally had to put my coffee maker to rest. It was a sad morning today :( I do have to say I am completely amazed it has made it that long... A quality product for sure. I have used it everyday with out fail (sometimes twice) moved a few times not to mention my not so gentle children help with cleanings... I just wanted to take. A moment and say THANK YOU for being a part of my mornings for the last 20 years... Now I have to figure out how to get a new one and which one I want. I do know I will get another product t from this company and I do have high expectations now... :) hoping for another 20 years. I purchased this on August 10, 2020; and am definitely happy I did. Easy to use and clean (you'll need to gently pinch the 2-pointy sides of the Removable Filter Basket to remove it; it doesn't tell you that in the Instructions). I can make my Coffee, then finish cleaning the House and getting ready for work or whatever it maybe that I am doing... Hours later; it's still Piping-Hot\r\n\r\nThis 5-Cup Toastmaster Coffee Machine is Compact and Perfect for your Work-Office or University/School. It fits into the corner perfectly and brews the best coffee. The 5 cup capacity works so well for us, as we only brew for 2. The swing out basket is easy to use and clean, and the best part to me is the pause and serve function. I can never wait for the whole pot to brew. :) All in all this is a cute, efficient and easy to use coffee maker, that takes up little space and makes a delicious cup of coffee! It brews my coffee, and it comes outs reasonably hot, but the warming plate does not keep the coffee warm for very long. The coffee pot feels sturdy, and the glass is not too thin. The sturdiness of the glass makes it easy to clean. However, the brew basket feels flimsy when changing out the coffee filters. It's also a little difficult to take out the coffee pot. You have to wiggle it out and to put in back as well.

Simplicity is the word for this brew machine. That is, if you want a good cup of coffee, period, this machine is the way to go. They seem to have mastered the art of heating water to the exact temperature desired for brewing. Put a filter in the basket, fill it with the desired amount of coffee, put water in the reservoir, and push a button. It is that simple. The clock is simple as well. There is a button for setting the hour and a button for setting the minutes. That's all. There is a hot plate under the carafe which shuts off after an hour so there is no chance of finding burnt coffee crud.

I have had the original for many many years. I use it to brew loose tea. It is ready for me when I get up. Lately it has started showing it's age so I decided to get another and store it for the day this one gives up the ghost. I have not seen this special model on retail shelves in quite a while and was afraid it may no longer be available when I need it, so now have another in waiting. No there are no coffee drinkers residing here, only tea.

The quality of the coffee is just as good as many other coffee makers on the market. The quality of material doesn't feel very quality. Easily bends and moves around. It's simple and cheap so I'd say it's pretty solid at this price point.
