The table is beautiful and it was exactly what I was looking for. It does indeed stay true to the color and it is extremely functional so far. The biggest downside is how the “parts†came attached. They were literally STAPLED into one of the tables pieces?! Fortunately (I guess) it was the underneath bottom, so any damaged that happen to it, you would not be able to see it. I started to take the “box parts†off; surely the grapples could be taken out easily right? We took 2 out in hopes they would come off easily. Unfortunately, trying to take them out obviously scratch it . I'm wondering.. why were the “parts†(screws, bolts) even STAPLED to a piece of the table? Could not they be separated? Don't get me wrong, I love loooove the table and I would give a 5 stars if it wasn't for this. -Assembly was easy-SUPER FUNCTIONAL-Not real wood but looks super nice and for the price? Yeah it's really good.Like I said, it is a shame they stapled and basically ruined one of the pieces.. now as you can see in my pictures.. I have to conform with those staples and some cardboard (I left them so it would not scratch my rug) there to not damaged the table any further.Even then, I would recommend this table. It is indeed beautiful.

We love this coffee table! The quality and sturdiness of materials is excellent, and the amount of storage is exactly what we needed. We can store two large queen size sherpa blankets and two smaller throw blankets in it. We did not order it assembled. It was easy to assemble. The only challenge (for me) was fitting the allen wrench in the screws. It wasn't because there was an issue with either the wrench or the screws. I just personally struggled with it. Without that challenge, it would have been assembled in 15 minutes, but it may have actually taken closer to 30 minutes. This was assembled by myself. No assistance at all from my husband.We really like the ease of opening and closing the table top, too. I would buy this again without a second thought!

Great coffee table as the inside has enough room for serval thick blankets. Was somewhat easy to put together and the problem I only had were the hinges. The directions didn't say to twist the top of the hinge to install, so it was a bit confusing but got the hang of it. The color of the table is a bit darker than what's pictured, but is still in the gray tone. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and wish they made a TV stand to go with.

The piece is sturdily built and very nice looking. It is deep enough and roomy enough inside to store many quilts. Assembly was a breeze.Our only complaint is the hinges on the top of the table. While aesthetically pleasing, they are an obstacle for objects place on the table. You can't really put a centerpiece in the middle of the table or play a board game.However, it is a beautiful piece and we have no regrets purchasing it.

I bought this set in spite of all the negative reviews and it is beautiful. First off, who knew Home Depot could fulfill these furniture orders. Well they not only can but they deliver when they say they are going to deliver and my delivery came perfect. Not only perfect but 3 weeks sooner than the manufacturer. Its not hard or easy to assemble. It was a bit tedious but the instructions were clear and the build quality is exceptional. The wood and finish is beautiful. Go for it.

I love this coffee table. It is a beautiful piece with dual functionality (storage and large surface for decor or food!). It is heavy, and is in keeping with the overall color scheme I was shooting for. It took about 30 minutes to an hour to assemble. I ordered several pieces, and while the instructions for all the furniture is not the best, it wasn't that hard to figure out. I would definitely recommend.

Bought this to have a functional table where I could store kids toys to organize the living room. Fantastic! Looks nice. Top corners have a rounded type of design which is great but bottom of each corner bit sharp so I am covering with protectors for kids. Storage is great, holds tons of toys and would easily hold quilts/bedding/blankets. Smell not bad out of box. Some odor but not a strong off gassing.

I usually don't write reviews, but I had to let everyone know how nice this is. I have been looking for a coffee table set for a while. This is absolutely gorgeous..it looks even better in person. It took my husband about 10 mins to put it together. The counter top is thick and solid. The color is gorgeous. The inside of it is huge, and could fit quite a few blankets. You will not be disappointed.

Exactly what I wanted. Easy build and adds the wonderful style we were looking for. The color is a hint darker than pictured but it was nothing that I didn't expect. Had to have the initial table returned due to something puncturing the box and table but the support staff helped me get a replacement within days. Five stars on the support staff too! Ashley furniture, you are the bomb.

The last thing to be build because as we were thinking about getting a smaller table. Not needed! Fits true to dimensions if you plan out your living room. Easy to build with the right tools (have a kit for screws, always handy around house). Color is awesome and fits into room easy. The end table combo was great too. Got both.

I love this table. I realized I needed something square instead of rectangular to fit in the space I wanted it in and this one was perfect! The lift top is nice and feels so sturdy, the other side with storage is perfect for throw pillows and blankets. Overall feels very sturdy, well made, and high quality.

I ordered the coffee and end table. It is a bit more of a greenish brown then gray but it looks amazing with my furniture. The first set was damaged during shipping and customer service got it replaced and another to me in just a few days. I love them. They look great and are easy to assemble.

This table is just what i was looking for. It's farmhouse style but not overbearingly so. And the lift top is really handy. It states that it is made of wood and engineered wood, but the only part that's wood seems to be the legs, which is really fine with me.
