I've had Polk XT60 floor standing speakers for about 2 years. They were paired with my Martin Logan Motion 30i Center and Motion 2i Surrounds. I really like Nartin Logan for they way they sound, look and the price point. So I decided to spoil myself and upgraded the Polks to the new ML Foundation series. All Martin Logan now. We're not very knowledgeable when I comes to hi-fi and frequencies and all that but we know when something sounds good vs bad. These sound GREAT!My wife and I put our AVR in stereo mode and played some of our favorite house tracks and really soaked in the sound of the Polks. As soon as we were ready I stopped the music, switched the speaker wires to the new Martin Logans, recalibrated the AVR and started the music again.We were immediately blown away by the jump in quality. They sounded alot cleaner than the polks when the volume was cranked up. The bass was great and clean too, not muddy and overpowering like the Polks could be at times. Overall we're very happy with them. These are the entry level towers that Martin Logan offers but to us we can't even tell. They don't sound entry level.. Would reccomend!

Exactly the sound i was looking for! Good combination of lows, mids,and highs. Paired with a Cambridge Audio AXR!00.Bluetooth from my Laptop or phone sound iincredible! The walnut finishIs beautiful, And fits in nicely with my entertainment rack which is also woodgrain and glass. Have a 10 inch subwoofe but really can do without it. would recommend highly. also plays well at lower volumes which is nice in a apartment.

The ML Foundation F1 speakers have a balance nutural sound with the exceptiion of the motion tweeter system, for my taste a little bright. Overall in the right size room 200 sq ft and above they have a bigger open sound and you can actually hear the base drivers much better. Closed in you only appreciate the mid and hi tones. For the money they are better IMO, than a lot of the other speakers in this space.

I just set these up in my small 18'x12'x9' living room and they integrated superbly in less than hour. No issues with subwoofer crossover or gross frequency aberrations. I believe Martin Logan put a lot of thought into domestic-sized listening rooms.
Soundstaging is precise and detailed but "normal." Ie., the speakers aren't throwing sounds randomly all over the room.
Pros: Easily adapts to "normal" domestic sized rooms with very even frequency response. Highly efficient 92dB rating can run on almost anything. May struggle with tube amps at 4 ohms, but I'm not into that nonsense. Lacks the bottom octave of bass extension, but unless you're in a huge acoustic space you should almost certainly be running subs at a different location than the mains. And even then you should probably be running subs at a different location than the mains.
Cons: High frequencies are elevated but very smooth. Even response can easily be shelved with tone controls, so not really a con. Finish looks cheap, but competitive with or better than Klipsch at this low price point.

I was going to pick these or the kef floorstanding speakers that were 600 at the time of purchase on sale. After listening to peoples reviews martinlogans are less accurate but emphasize highs while the kefs are more “accurate” but to me flat and boring. I had an old pair of sony floor ss-f7000s that got the job done for over a decade for me but i wanted something good for once in my home. I will say a good sub pairs very well with these because the bass is lacking but also not bad at all. I have been blasting these things at max volume all weekend and didnt get fatigued and feel the need to tirn them down like i did with the sonys. I noticed an immediate bump in quality if you love acoustic music youll hear all the little details. Songs ive listned to alot i was hearing new things ive never heard before. I dont think anyone wouldregret buying a pair of these.

I struggled with Sony towers and then Polk bookshelves and a maddening number adjustments trying to find the sound I wanted with nothing but disappointment. I saw these and sat in BB over an hour listening and fell in love. Build quality is excellent and the appearance of these are breath taking. The sound is so clean with plenty of detail and the imaging and positioning is spot on. Paired with my sub the bass is punchy and clean. Movies are spot on and listening to music the speakers practically disappear and the sound is mesmerizing without harshness or any ear fatigue.

What a beauty of sound I highly recommend martin logan and private many brands svs klipsch keff sony jbl but without a doubt this sound is incomparable super detailed accurate clean does not distort when raising the volume the quality of the wood without a doubt it is not worth paying so much money martin logan has it without paying so much money I could buy a more expensive one in terms of money but when I heard this model I found it incredible I recommend it I am very happy with my martin logan

Excellent sound. I fell in love with these the moment I heard them , first I heard the F2 but they had a lil more extra bass which I didn't need cause I had a subwoofer which provided that. Cranked these speakers up to Metallica's ONE and WOW.... played some songs from Snoops 1st album to current Gorillaz album and was also blown away by the clarity and crispness of these speakers ! crank these ML F1s up and they wont disappoint

Went to BB to audition QEF speakers and walked out with these. I thought the treble was much smoother, less grating, to MY ears. Great treble and midrange, bass is adequate but tbh a bit weaker than I expected. Easily fixed with a sub. I’m driving these with a Bluesound Powernode in a 2.1 setup for music only. Imaging is phenomenal, very happy with this setup.
