Bought this game for my 4 year old and it was extremely easy for him to play on his own. Additionally, he received both the game and the Nintendo switch on the same day and after spending very few minutes showing him how to use the controller he was playing the game on his own. What I also liked is the game tells them how to proceed in the event they are stuck so he never had to ask me what to do because the game was VERY helpful and designed with understanding that young children would've playing. Definitely recommend if you are on the fence regarding whether there are games that your young kiddo can play on the switch, this game is definitely a must have and will make the Nintendo switch so worth purchasing for a younger child.
