Works very well. None of the sound quality issues other dongles can have. No noticeable noise or hiss even at full volume. Plenty of power to drive most portable headphones. Nice and compact. Doesn't seem especially durable but the cable is nice and flexible. Hopefully it holds up fairly well. The one downside is that if you plan to use this on an android device, as I did, you will need to use an app to get the full volume out of it, otherwise you'll be stuck with about half volume. Not a huge deal but worth mentioning. Besides that, it's a great product at a surprisingly great value from Apple.

My wife and I upgraded our Phones from iPhone 11 and 12 to the New iPhone 17. The Charging Port is now a USB-C instead of the Older Lightening Connections. My wife listens to audio books and her AirPods don't last long enough, so she uses the Wired Apple Earbuds (Lightening) after the AirPods run out of juice. She has 3 sets of the Wired Earbuds and we couldn't see a reason not to use them on the New iPhones, This adaptor made this possible.

It's an Apple Dongle. \nDo you need it? Yep.\nWill it break? Probably within 6 months give or take.\nWill you lose it? You'll lose it before you break it more often than not.\nWill you have to buy another one because you need it? Absolutely. And there isn't much you can do about it so might as well just get it. Don't get a 3rd party dongle… its breakable/losable factor is somehow tripled, and you'll just end up buying the Apple brand one anyways.

I needed this for the iPad Gen10 since they now went from a lightning charger to a USB-C in order to use the 1stGen iPencil. The price was a bit steep, but I had to have it in order to use the pencil! However, it does work as it should, so if that's what you are looking for, this is it. Plug the pencil into it and plug it into the iPad.

Works great for wired Apple CarPlay. I had a third-party, aftermarket cord that wouldn't work all the time when connecting my iPhone. This seems to work flawlessly as it's made by Apple. It's an additional cost but worth it if you're having issues connecting CarPlay with other charging cords.

I bought 2 when I upgraded my IPhone. These are great and do exactly what I need them to do. I like being able to have one cord and just add or take off the adapter depending on what Im charging. They're compact and easily taken with me. Great purchase!
