The desk is definitely exact what I wanted and needed for my room. It is very strong so I'm not worried about it being dysfunctional after a few years of use like my past desks. My mother recommended getting a desk from here and I do not regret it; this is a newer version of the exact same desk that she still uses to this day after purchasing about 20 years ago. My only issue is that at the end of assembly, even though things were going well so far, some areas just were not adjusting quite right for the backends and the drawers. It took some work, but the door functions well. The holes for the drawers seem equal when you look at them, but after install, the top drawer falls too low and I have to lift it so the bottom drawer can close. You can only screw in the rollers for the drawers in a certain way that will match the holes in the wood, so there isn't much adjustment that I can make. The thin, wooden backs to the drawer and door areas are just a material that I wouldn't want compared to the rest of the desk; it is like a stronger form of cardboard and doesn't seems like it would last very long. I'd rather it be another piece of wood like the sides of the desk instead of this material, a material that is hammered into the desk instead of screwed in like everything else. Regardless of these issues, I am still really happy with my purchase. It can definitely be installer error (me) for the issues I have, but there are not many options for adjustment when the rest of the desk is assembled.

I bought this desk because I was looking for something with a smaller length that still had a filing drawer integrated into it, not a terrible amount of options to choose from (I was aiming for something less than 44"L).\n\nSimilar desks from IKEA seemed far more simplistic and cost three times as much. This desk is also particle board with a veneer but while assembling it I was pretty confident that this was of a slightly higher caliber than your typical IKEA desk. All the parts were in the box and nothing was damaged, the assembly process was a little involved but the directions were straight forward. It took me a little less than 2 hours to assemble, you need just a hammer and two screwdrivers to do it.\n\nI've only had it a few days, my only concern is that the flip out portion of the keyboard shelf feels like it has a little give to it as it is supported by a sprung hinge. This desk looks far better than the busted old desk that preceded it in my computer room.

The assembly was easier than expected. Only problem was the upper right drawer had the drawer holes drilled out of square when the side was attached to the back. I also noticed the screws were larger than the screws for the lower drawer so I used my own similar to the lower drawer black screws. But even so, the upper screw went in off to the side of square an made the inside of the back of the drawer bulge out a bit, so I removed the screw and used a drill to drill a new hole and then put some glue on the screw to install. The lower screw is fine so this should be ok. I also had one of the bolt tighteners for the center base pieces fail due to weak metal when I over tightened it. But the other one holding the top is good and the other side is good and I could not dissasemble it and had no replacement one any way. By the time this showed up, I was about to turn the desk over to upright and the other things were attached to those supports.

Nice desk. Per other reviews, it is very heavy (the delivery guy struggled with it and needed my help to get it from the truck to the house), so get the box to where you are going to assemble and allow a large space to lay out all the pieces. The packaging is adequate, but could use some more protection around the corners of the desktop. I had some damage to two corners, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. This probably occurred during shipping, but it was on the back side where it wouldn't be seen, so I let it slide. If you're putting this on a hardwood or laminate floor, there are no feet or bumpers, so you'll have to add them yourself or place on carpet to protect your floor. Otherwise, it's a nice desk for the money and I'm happy with it. Don't count on the advertised 2 day delivery, it took 5 days.

This desk is replacing another Sauder computer desk I had for 30 years. I'm still sold on the brand. This desk has two features I was really looking for--size and a keyboard tray. At approximately 24" x 60", it equals the desk space I had before. This is plenty of room for two monitors, a lamp, and space to work. An improvement is a longer keyboard tray, one that is long enough for my keyboard and a mouse. This means I have the mouse within easier reach than on the desktop, and I get a lot of working space for papers, devices, etc. I like that it still keeps a file drawer and a desk drawer. How do people have desks without any storage??? The two drawbacks really can't be helped--the weight and the assembly. It took me around 6 hours to assemble, including the many trips up and down the stairs to bring the pieces up in small batches, since carrying a 120 lb. box up the stairs by myself wasn't going to happen. Everything was well labeled, though, and the pieces all fit together without having to force anything. It's a really nice, big desk at a price--saying yes to this was a no-brainer.

This is a beautiful desk; even nicer in person than the pictures on line. Very impressive looking; looks far more than it costs. Only had it assembled within the last two days so I haven’t gotten to use it yet. The two drawers on the right don’t line up correctly; I’m not sure if it was the person who put it together for me or the way it was made. Took him over 4 hours, again, not sure if it was the person putting it together, though he has a lot of experience with these things. I’m glad I purchased it & would recommend.

I had the desk shipped to the store. The packaging didn't look that messed up but when I took out the pieces there was a huge scratch/warped area on the top piece. The desk itself is incredibly heavy. It took about 2-3 hours to put together but the directions were relatively easy to follow. They included a few extra hardware pieces which confused me but overall I like it.\nSo far I have not had any issues with the functionality of the desk. Its sturdy and all the doors and drawers close easily without hitting one another.

Computer desk. Very nice. The only improvement I can recommend is that the corners on the top front of the desk should be rounded off a little. My wife was walking passed the desk and hit her leg on the corner of the desk. This desk turned out to be better than I hoped. I put the desk together myself. It took me about three hours because there was so many pieces, and I was used to using my power screwdriver and I could only use my regular Phillips screwdriver. The box even came with extra parts. The desk once assembled even turned out to be bigger than I had hoped, which turned out to be much better in the end. \n\nThe drawers (both large and small) have plenty of room for me to put my extra computer attachments and pens. The computer cabinet is perfect for putting my extra printer paper and whatever else I need to store. \n\nThere is plenty of surface space for not just my computer, but also my large Hp multi-function printer. I believe that if you choose to buy this desk, then you will NOT be disappointed.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this product. Took an extra 5 days for me to receive through shipping and I'd say that and one of the brakets that the big drawer used to slide in and out of the desk was a wrong part. I was given two right sided brackets to go at the bottom of the drawer instead of one right and one left so the drawer wont slide in and out. I messaged someone at walmart but havent received a reply.

I don't like to buy such items online because of not knowing the quality of the product, but I needed a desk with drawers and storage space and those aren't as popular these days. I found this on sale and took a chance. I was VERY pleasantly surprised at not only the beautiful look of this desk, but how sturdy it is. It was pretty heavy in the box, and I was so glad it was packaged very well - it had corner boards protecting all around it and was wrapped in plastic. It delivered with no damage and every piece inside was in pristine condition. It took several hours to put it together, but it came together well and is such a nice piece of furniture. It looks more expensive than it is. I am very pleased with the product and highly recommend it...

This desk works if it's just for a small computer screen but I have a 21.5" imac. I also am comfortable seeing the screen atleast 3 feet from my face and with the depth of this desk (distance from back of desk to you) being only 18", it is not a very comfortable distance for me to view my computer. I had to push my screen back halfway off the desk. There is barely enough room for a 3 ring binder to sit in front of the computer and that's all the room you have. You're not gonna be able to spread out documents if you're working on something along with the computer. I knew that was the depth when I purchased it, but I didn't think it would make such a horrible difference. For those who can't see so close, don't get this desk.\n\nI wish the top left shelf was actually a slide out drawer rather than just a shelf where you had to reach in to get things. Cuz then I can't get things in the back without having to take everything out from the front first. And the reason I'm keeping this desk, although I should have returned it? I'm female, and it's too heavy to put back in the packaging and take back to return.\n\nOn top of that, the instructions were pretty simple; I've put together many desks before. But this particular company even states that some of their pieces do not have alphabetical labels to identify them. So it took longer than usual to put the desk together.

Order came promptly. Packaged well. Desk was better than I expected. I don't usually order on line. I'm retired 67 year old grandma. Haven't put anything together for at least 30 yrs. Instructions were very easy to follow and videos available helpful when needed. Extremely pleased with purchase. Quips on pages of instructions made me laugh at appropriate moment.

I debated on this desk for weeks. I'm so glad I got it. The only negative about the desk is me trying to get it in the house after it was delivered. It is heavy and awkward. Stuff like this should have handles on the boxes! It took me a few hours to put it together because I did it alone and took my time. I opened it near the front door and moved the pieces to the room I wanted the desk in. The instructions were easy to follow. The end result was great. It's a really nice desk for the price. Definitely build it where you plan on putting it. It's nice but it's still manufactured pressed wood. I think dragging it around after it's together would break it

Got this for my home office, I needed something that is big enough with a good wood finish look. This one looks good after its finished and feels sturdy enough for a person to sit on top of the table upto 170lbs. \nFedex delivered it 2days later than the promised time but i would expect that during this pandemic time. Its about 125lbs when shipped so it takes some effort to bring it in home and would be easy if two persons were working on it, although I was able to pull it off and assemble it all by myself. \nTook me roughly about 4-5hrs from unpacking to full assembly, maybe because I was doing it alone.\nAlll in all I am happy with the purchase.

I bought this desk online without ever seeing it in person. It was much larger than I expected but fits very nice. The color is great. \n\nAs far as getting it into my house, be warned it is approx 170# so I had to drag it into my house after the ups guy delivered it. \n\nPutting it together: There are quiet a few pieces but overall it went together well. The only trouble I had was with the door hinges on the left side of the desk. I kept reading the directions to try and figure out how to not crack the wood with the tension and still ended up cracking around one of the screw sites\n\nTotal time to put it together was about 2.5 to 3 hours

I love this desk the large size is just what I was looking for. My daughter can use as well as myself at the same time. Delivery was actually great nice timing just when it said it was coming. Assembly was amazing the instructions were step by step as should be. Plus there is a QR code to scam for video instructions if needed. Assembly time took me about 4 hours because I did it alone. All pieces were accounted for. Bottom panel has one tiny scratch but I took care of that with some finishing polish. If I had to order it again I definitely would. Oh and the packaging was great.

Desk is lovely and the quality is great. I had one problem. It came with a bad dent in the top. It was actually where it had been dropped in transit . I called Sauder company right away and was treated very well. They were extremely nice and within 3 days of calling on Thursday, I was shipped a new top from Ohio. I am so glad I ordered from this company. They have the best customer service department I have ever dealt with. It was almost a joy talking with the lady there.

We are thrilled with our new computer desk. It was Easy to assemble and the end result is very sturdy . Some of the major panels did not have a letter code but the instructions had detailed pics so it can be figured out. . It's very heavy(135 lbs) so bring the pieces into the room where you plan to use the desk to assemble it.\nThe desktop and side pieces had several scratches so I hope Sauder will send me a small bottle of touch up stain.

I only paid just over a $100 for this desk. I was very impressed with the value, quality, and convenience. It took about 1.5 hrs to install; the bottom hanging folder drawer is spacious; the top drawer serves as great storage space and it is very spacious as well. I love that the keyboard area is in it's own compartment. I am 100%+ satisfied with my purchase. Also, the color is more of a dark-chocolate which worked great for me!

Like the desk very much, except for a few problems: Impossible to insert FILE GLIDES onto drawer side. Much too tight and seems like "too small" to force onto drawer side, so I find this drawer totally unusable as a file drawer, thus a useless, deep drawer (wasted space).\nDrawer fronts do not line up, so vertical, cut-out design totally out of alignment and not nice looking. Also had a half-moon, quarter sized piece chipped out of back of one side piece. Luckily it is against wall, so used it despite flaw. Far less than expected of a Sauder product.
