I'm not going to mince words: the Coffee Center Grind and Brew Plus isn't just a coffee maker, it's a culinary deity masquerading as a kitchen appliance. From the moment this magnificent machine graced my countertop, my mornings have transformed from groggy rituals into pure, unadulterated bliss.\nLet's talk about the grind. "Super quiet," the user said? That's an understatement so profound it borders on blasphemy. This machine grinds beans with the hushed reverence of a librarian in a silent reading room. I've had grandmothers who whisper louder! You could be performing delicate brain surgery next to this thing, and the only sound you'd hear is the delightful whiff of freshly pulverized coffee. It's so efficient, it feels like it's brewing coffee before I even think about wanting it.\nAnd the warmth! Oh, the glorious, enduring warmth! This isn't your average, "lukewarm an hour later" kind of warmth. This is the kind of warmth that says, "I love you, and I want your coffee to be perfectly hot until the very last drop, even if you decide to take a nap in between cups." It's like having a personal coffee concierge dedicated to maintaining optimal temperature at all times.\nTruly, this is the best coffee maker ever. It has elevated my coffee experience to a level I previously thought unattainable. It's efficient, it's quiet, it's a warmth-preserving wizard.\nNow, for the one minuscule, almost unforgivable flaw that threatens to cast a shadow on this otherwise perfect beacon of caffeinated joy: the coffee pot glass. "Overly sensitive," they said. Ha! That's like calling a supernova a "bright light." I've looked at these pots sideways and felt a tremor of impending doom. I've accidentally breathed too hard in their general vicinity, and suddenly, shards. Two pots already! It's less a coffee pot and more a delicate, crystalline heart, prone to shattering at the slightest emotional turbulence. It truly makes me glower with frustration that such a magnificent machine is tethered to such a fragile vessel. It's the Achilles' heel of an otherwise Herculean coffee maker.\nDespite this, I stand by my assertion: the Coffee Center Grind and Brew Plus is an unbelievable, wonderful, fantastic triumph. Just... invest in a backup pot. Or ten. You'll thank me later, after you've experienced the sheer perfection of the brew.

This is a very good dual purpose machine especially at this price. This was bought to replace a stand alone Cuisinart 12 cup machine with a bean hopper. We love the versatility of a full carafe or a single cup however where this machine falls short is in the 12 cup carafe which we use all the time. The older machine held 2 - 4 lbs of fresh beans and grinded those beans with a grinder which was perfectly done every time. This machine only holds a cup of beans per pot and uses a blade to cut the beans so not only do you have alot more to clean out before every pot of coffee but because the blade type cutter does not grind the beans as well the coffee flavor is not as consistent. Had we know this prior to purchasing this machine we would not have gotten it. Most people who have not used a grinder at all would probably not know the difference. We have had a better Cuisinart machine before this and so we are used to that very rich coffee flavor. I will add that the reason our old machine went out was due to consistent use and the the grinder section went bad as it was unserviceable. I see that Cuisinart tried to correct this by making the blade grinder removable and cleanable. Very nice on their part to at least recognize a past problem and try to fix it. Now what they need to is make a serviceable or removable true grinder rather than bade type system as it is much better at making very good coffee.

We have had two Hamilton Beach FlexBrew products and liked them very much. We switched to the Cuisinart Coffee Center Grind and Brew Plus for two reasons. GRINDER ... my wife likes to grind her own beans about half the time and we wanted a unit with a grinder built in. Your grinder works fine, BUT I was surprised to learn I had to remove it and dry it off even when we were not grinding beans. It gets steamed up and both pieces of the grinder have to be dried out. PLASTICS ... we worried that the plastic "guts" of the HB FlexBrew was reported to create microplastics and mix them in the water. Yours was rated free of that concern, or so my wife reported from her online research. Overall this is an attractive and easy to maintain unit which brews good coffee.

Great product. We had a separate Cuisinart Grind and Brew, and a Keurig, but both on the kitchen counter was too cluttered looking. After seeing this at Macy's, we purchased it when I had Star money to help offset the cost. Now can have the convenience of our K-cup coffee during the week and a pot of freshly ground and brewed coffee. Only one caveat with the K-cup side, if you don't first push the K-cup down, before putting the compartment lid down, the cup will sometimes get pushed in crooked and water will overspill into the overflow reservoir below. There was nothing in the instructions to do this, but now every time we put in the K-cup pod, we push it in first before snapping down the compartment lid and it makes a foolproof cup each time.

Love the grind and brew with the addition of a pod brew side for an all in one unit. We wanted to go back to whole beans for our morning brew to not only save money but also better for the environments as the pods dont completely recycle. For convenience if we choose to have an afternoon coffee here and there it is nice to still have the option to use a pod.\r\nI only gave 4 stars because the grinder does leave fine coffee ground in the grinder and in the spout it dumps into the coffee filter basket which is wasteful to me. It is almost perfect. I would buy it again because there is nothing in the market that has this set up for the price, along with a 12 Cup carafe.

I've had Cuisinart Grind and Brew in the past and loved it. The grinder is loud but that's expected. Must clean the grinder and components after each use or this machine is not for you. Only real complaint is with The K-cup option...hard to see "max" water line and the hole in the back of the reservoir should NOT be there-water will run all down the back before you know it. The single serve process is a little louder than I had hoped but overall I would recommend this machine if you want the convenience of single serve as well as a carafe of coffee. So far so good!

My spouse likes to make a pot early in the morning. I\u2019m not an early morning person and by the time I get around to drinking my first cup- I can make a fresh single pod. We occasionally use the grind and brew when we want something different or special, which is also an added bonus! Clean up is not difficult at all.

I love the different options this machine has for brewing coffee. The coffee is hot and brews well. The biggest con is that moisture gets into grinder when brewing, so you have to thoroughly clean it out and let it dry after every use or it doesn't work as well. \nAlso, if you open the water/grinder lid, you lose the “keep warm” function. \nWe are an household that brews multiple pots in a day and overall, we're happy with the machine.

We purchased this on a Black Friday deal to replace our Cuisinart grind and brew that we’ve had for over 15 years. The built-in grinder is great for fresh coffee every day. I also like being able to set up the maker at night and program it to brew in the morning before breakfast. I like the simplicity of the design and expect it to last as long as the old maker did. Plus it looks good with our other appliances.\nIf I had one comment it would be the entire top opens up on a hinge whereas the older maker had a shorter lid. This means I have to pull the maker further out from under the cabinet where it is positioned in order to access the grinder and water reservoir. This is more of an issue with my kitchen layout but something to consider if you have limited space. \nOverall this is a quality product we got with good deal this year so I’m happy we can keep having fresh ground coffee in the mornings.

I love the style of this coffee maker, it makes great coffee, it’s easy enough to clean, I like that it can be easily programmed so I can get up to coffee ready to pour. I just wish it could hold more beans, the listing said it grinds beans but didn’t really make clear you have to add a single quantity of beans every time you want to use it especially as there is more space in the top

Our 1st grind and brew started spewing grounds into the grinder area and around the burner and counter. Cuisinart answered my problem with a new filter holder and we had the same results, upon which they sent me a new G&B. It has been a blessing to not have to clean up all over after brewing. Thank you for your replacing the defective machine. I love my fresh ground coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it. It is super loud but stranger is how long is grinds, even for four cups. It sounds as if it's a running overloaded aggressive motor! The other con is the cleanup - everyday I have to clean out the grinds AND where the beans grind and the coffee pot. The pro is you can have ground, beans and a one cup!!

The coffee maker grinder and brew both work well. The only thing I don't like about the grinder is it makes a mess to clean up and some of the beans didn't grind but got stuck in the top cover. Had extra Kohls cash so bought the Cuisinart stand alone grinder which I like better and makes it easier to measure the coffee once ground up and no mess to clean up.

I will say we like the coffee maker but there are a few draw backs I wish Cuisinart would address.1. The LED light on the front is too done bright it lights up my whole kitchen I have to put a towel over it at night. 2.No matter how slow or fast I pour coffee the pot always drips onto my counter. A good upgrade from my old coffee maker. Grinds coffee beans, able to use the pods, easy to use and clean! Makes smooth coffee! However, the coffee grinding is lacking a bit, it doesn't grind everything and a lot of the grounded ones get stuck inside and doesn’t fall to the filter. This could be normal, but I just prefer to buy pre grounded coffee beans now.

I have had my product for 30 days now, and it is a keeper, although I wish it could fit more coffee beans for larger pots. I've enjoyed getting my ratio of coffee beans to water just right for me, and it tastes smooth. The grinding noise is loud and can be startling, but there's also the feature of using ground coffee if need be which is great!

We had the same coffee maker for years and were very happy with it until it finally died. Our new replacement is very effective and does the job, but the grinder is extremely loud--even louder than our ancient one. I would have thought a brand-new model would have included engineering to subdue the grinding mechanism. That's our only complaint.

I love everything about this coffee maker except the carafe. I’ve had four of these over the course of decades, both the 12-cup with glass carafe and the 10-cup with the insulated carafe and ALL of the carafes pour poorly. Otherwise, however, it makes a great cup of coffee, is easy to program (if you so choose), and is easy to clean.

This is as a replacement coffeemaker. My original purchase was a year ago. Very happy with the coffee by product but the machine itself is all plastic and a little flimsy. That's what happened to mine a little piece broke off the top lid and to use the machine I had to use a heavy jar of pasta sauce to keep it closed.

I prefer a thermal carafe. Fortunately the carafe from my old Grind and Brew fit and works well with the new product. Having to clean each piece after each use is tedious but doable. The blade grinder uses a lot more coffee beans than did the burr grinder. At the price of coffee these days, we now drink less coffee.

Good product. Like the two brew options plus grind option. Can set a timer too. Sometimes certain pods explode, cuisinart recommended keurig and green mountain pods only to prevent that. Basket for carafe doesn't require a liner which is nice. Pod water side holds enough for about three cups.

Good coffee maker but a bit different from previous model. You have to fill the beans before each pot as opposed to just filling the bean container and having the coffee maker grind the correct amount of beans. There s also more cleaning involved between uses.

I traded in my 20+ year Cuisenart Grind and brew for a new one this year. It’s very simple to use and the coffee is super hot. The entire unit is larger than the previous one. I do miss my thermal pot though as this one is glass.

This is a great machine. The best parts of it is that the Keurig side puts out a hot cup of coffee (so many pod machines put out tepid coffee). This thing has been a trusty sidekick for a few years. The grinder works great, though we rarely use it...we just prefer to grind our own.\n\nOf HUGE importance. Our unit did die in a little under two years (about the 22 month mark), but Cuisinart's warranty is awesome...it was 3 years, and the process was super simple (so many companies act like I'm a criminal when trying to exercise the warranty THEY offer for the broken stuff). I've had this experience with them with other products as well. Cuisinart has my brand loyalty for good products and good service.
